About

Public pool offering diving and a playground, plus concessions.

Specific, regularly published pool temperatures for Parkview Pool are not readily available. As an outdoor facility, its water temperature typically fluctuates with ambient weather conditions and relies on natural solar heating.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool facility receives mixed reviews. While some customers praise it as 'phenomenal' and generally describe the facility as 'nice,' several significant issues were raised. Criticisms include inconsistent and rigid rule enforcement, particularly regarding slide use for children and allowing disruptive football games in the water while prohibiting other items. Staff conduct was also a point of concern, with reports of aggressive and premature cleaning of changing rooms that inconvenienced users, created hazards, and exposed them to chemicals. Additionally, there was an instance of overcharging at the concession stand and a complaint about the lack of refunds for visits cut short by unforeseen circumstances like weather.

The actual pool facility is nice. The rules could be improved. I see that there’s been repeated criticism of the slide by parents. Why can’t a loving parent or a lifeguard stand to the side and allow a child especially one with borderline autism or sensory issues go down the slide? They would have success and then they wouldn’t be such an issue. It’s not about the 48 inches we respect that. What is with the constant football games that are The water? You can’t help a child at the bottom of the slide and stand off and protect everyone, but you can throw a football around causing bloody noses and pain when someone else that’s not playing.? How smart is that a small child is using Swim fans in the water and the whistle gets blown on them to stop using it but you can throw football around and a basketball. Makes No sense.

Went to the women’s changing area/ bathroom to change around 5:40. (The pool closes at 6 and there are people still swimming) I go into a bathroom stall while a staff member is spraying disinfectant and water all over. Was a little irritated they started doing that so early when people have to use these spaces to change but I just decided to deal with it. I’m in there trying to change in a tiny area (because that was literally the only place I could change that they weren’t cleaning) and 2 staff members start spraying right out side of the stall I’m using (they also get it inside the stall) and spray my feet not once but twice with this disinfectant spray! I didn’t think it could get any worse at this point, I’m just trying to hurry up and change because they are cleaning this entire area and flooding it with water and cleaning spray. I finish changing as fast as I could and open the door so I can get out of there and let them get their job done but when I open it they are both standing there trying to mop up the lake of water they just made right in front of the stall I’m using. They couldn’t have waited 5 minutes to at least let me change quick?? There was no way for me to go around this giant puddle of water and they’re just staring at me awkwardly like I’M in the way. I try to step around the puddle but couldn’t and I walked out of there with my sandals wet and ruined and my feet burning from this spray. It’s one thing to deep clean and do obvious closing duties when people need to use these facilities still but it’s completely rude to be cleaning like that and spraying customers feet with this stuff and not even caring… causing falling/dangerous hazards while they are still open! The least they could do would be to put up a sign saying this bathroom/changing area is closed for cleaning! They are lucky I didn’t take my little kids in there with me or there would have been a much bigger problem than a bad review. But hey, at least it’s clean! 🙃

The pool is nice but some of the consensus boys charged me 5 dollars for a popcorn, two laffy taffy’s and a doughnut which is $3. So I go back up after realizing that I got scammed and they kept arguing with me and I added it all up and they finally agreed and gave me my $2 back. It wasn’t a big deal but I still got scammed. So I hope they get talked to because no one should have to argue about something when they are right.

Our first time here today. It seems really nice but we were only here for about 10 mins before we were told we needed to get out of the water bc it was lightning. The forecast didn't show rain so it's really no ones fault but having to pay $7 for 10 mins with no refund isn't worth it.
