Spacious lawn area surrounding pool. Two private pavilion sections. The food stand is affordable. Love the kid section of the pool. Great for the littles

I love bringing the baby here to walk around. The pool is huge and right next to a big beautiful lake. There’s a place to rent kayaks, canoes, and other water craft from, a snack shack, plenty of picnic tables, chairs to relax and tan on, I think I saw public grills, a play ground area, lots of open space, trails, and streams to enjoy. I have not been able to explore all of French creek yet, but thus far I’ve enjoyed it. Be aware, they get packed during some holidays and weekends.

We came camping to French Creek State Park and the pool said it would be open Sunday and Monday. We went to the pool on Sunday and then it clearly said the pool was open on Monday and when we showed up, they just closed with no warning or reason. My son was very sad and disappointed. And then after they closed, there were several other families we saw with young children that showed up and were disappointed to see that they were closed for no reason. Whether it’s low attendance, it’s a vacationing place and I think they need to do better with communication.

Credit to the young woman working the entrance line. Super professional, organized, and nice on a day where it was supercrowded she and her coworker, young guy with short beard, were super efficient. Lifegaurds were very aware and keeping this under control w/o being too overbearing. My wife and I are in our sixties and although it was packed with younger people, several engaged us in conversation. Great way to spend the 4th. Place was full of joy
