If I can give them negative stars, l would. This is the worst amusement park experience I have had in all our trips. But I can’t even call it an experience since they close all the attractions due to weather!? (It is 89F and hot as the sun) It took more half an hour to walk from the entrance to the water park part. There is no signs until we were very close by, nothing, we kept having to ask and guess. And in the excruciating heat and to our biggest disappointment, everything was closed and fenced off. It’s a total waste of time and money. Never again will I come here. They could not pay me to come back here. Urgently asking people to stay away from this place. Also, look at the water and make the judgement for yourself. It’s filled either filth and disgusting 🤮 Do yourself a favor and go to Six Flags or Dorney Park.
Hershey’s Water Park is absolutely amazing! The lazy river is perfect for relaxing, and the wave pool is so much fun… just the right amount of thrill and splash! Every water ride was a blast, from the high-speed slides to the more chill ones for the whole family. The place is super clean and well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Whether you’re going with kids or just looking to beat the heat, this park has something for everyone. We had such a great time and can’t wait to go back again!
Rented a Cabana this week. This is a very nice experience and a fun way to enjoy the water park. You have direct access to the lazy river and you can order food which they deliver to you. You get a nice beach bag at check-in. It included towels, sun screen and also comes with a locker. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. There were 8 of us and the Cabana only had 6 chairs. So two people had to stand while we ate. Other than that we all had a great time. This is the way to experience The Boardwalk.
This water park is ok. Try your best to not have to buy from their shops. This is a relatively small water park but still has plenty to do to have fun on a hot summer day. I do like that it's in the park. So it's nice you don't have to leave the main park to go to the water park. The water rides get pretty busy right away so your best bet is to go there right away and get right on some rides. The lazy river has gotten new tubes since the last time I was here two years ago. They're nice sitting tubes. The lazy river is very cold at the beginning of the year though, the wave pool is also very cold. I unfortunately broke my sandal while here and had to buy new ones but they sell any non flip flop sandals in either shop in my size which is a very common women's size shoe. All the sandals were size 10-11 in women's sizes which is nuts because that's much larger than the average women's size so I had to buy water shoes. The shop also doesn't let you try anything on and everything is non refundable, so I bought my son a $50 bathing suit that ended up being way too large. It'd be nice if they at least let you exchange it if you just bought it for another size. The food in the water park is pretty decent with the beer battered fish from The Shoreline Grill or the burgers from East Coast Burger Works are both good options but be ready to wait for those.
Not a great or well-thought out water park. My biggest complaint would be the lazy river. It has limited rafts and access. You may only enter with a raft. The staff snatched and kept a large amount of rafts for the cabbanna renters (which were not even getting in). !!!There was around a 90 minute wait for us in line to get into the Lazy River. In that time, 3 people passed out (from 3 different parties), 2 of them being children . The response and time it took for lifeguards emergency medical to assist these individuals was concerning. Go visit Kansas City's Ocean's of Fun (and World's of Fun). They'll show you how fun is done.
