Located on Fallon NAS, indoor pool with 3 swim lanes and aquatic play set for the kids. Life jackets are available for kids and towels are provided. A good activity during the hot summer.
First youll need to be a sponsor or be sponsored by someone eligible to use the base MWR facilities. Great pool for swimming laps , shooting hoops,or playing on the blow up obstacle course. The life guards are great. Kids need to pass a swim test before being allowed to swim without a life jacket. Has a small workout area. There are benches and chair to sit and watch the kiddos. They provide towels, life jackets, some swimming equipment for doing laps, and water toys like ring torpedoes and small animals the kids can toss in and search for.
This pool is great for swimming laps and "free swim". We brought our 2 year old to this location and the lifeguards pointed out some of the pool toys she might like. They do have a changing room for the males and females as well as showers and towels if you forget to bring yours. The water in the showers does get hot which I loved. In the changing room there is also a small dryer to dry your swim suit when you're done. The area is always clean when we go and we've never had any issues here.
Very fun pool, I'm happy they let all service members use it. They also have a pool side gym.
Lanes do take up quickly but great facility for single or family laps. Good gym equipment to use if not wanting to swim.
