I was just passing through looking for a quick overnight stop with full hook ups. The lady who checked us in was friendly. This place blew my mind!!! The 2 hot springs pools are 5 ft deep, really hot, and huge!!! The view is fantastic. There are push button showers, and pool noodles by the pool. It was a wonderful, relaxing surprise after a long day of driving.
Checking in and kindness of the staff was wonderful. The location was quiet and serene settled in right next to a red rock valley. The pool was well taken care of, and felt amazing! Don't let some of those bad reviews turn you away from this really cool Hot Spring
I'm really impressed with the changes over last year as the owners have been busy. Sure, still some deferred maintenance (dead trees), but the progress is evident and welcome. The pool is much cleaner. For those with noise sensitivities, the railroad and highway run right next to the property, so pack some ear plugs.
Fountain of Youth RV Park – the good, the bad, and the ugly….. Good/great- Beautiful views and mineral pools included! Bad- sites are very narrow, muddy if raining. Your neighbors sewer drains are literally 2 feet from your picnic table. Difficult to exit with a toad due to the turning radius. Internet, extremely poor! Not only does it not reach most of the campsites and the mineral pool area, most of tome their Internet doesn’t even populate to join. Ugly- There is a dangerous railing that has come off between two of the mineral pools. It is laying in the water and exposed steel on the steps where it gave way. Many cigarette butts in our barbecue. Property and pools are not being maintained enough. In general – this property has the potential of being really magnificent, but improvements and investments are needed.
This was an excellent RV park, I could not have reserved a better campground. 10 minutes from thermopolis state park, the park has a good location, and though it is a little bit outdated, it is well maintained. I talked with the new manager, he and his team are very hardworking, they maintain the campgrounds natural hot springs pool regularly, and very responsive to my needs. Excellent place.Excellent hot springs pool.
