About

Seasonal water park with inflatables and a playground, plus active military discounts.

The warm-water therapy pool at the Rochester Recreation Center's Natatorium is typically maintained at a comfortable temperature of approximately 92-94 degrees Fahrenheit (33-34 degrees Celsius). While specific temperatures for the competition and leisure pools may vary, they are generally kept cooler, often in the range of 78-82 degrees Fahrenheit (25-28 degrees Celsius), suitable for active swimming and recreation.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Water Park of Minnesota in Rochester is generally praised as a fun and exciting experience, especially for older children (12+) and adults, with many highly recommending it. Reviewers consistently highlight the awesome setup and the very friendly, helpful, and kind staff. Prices are considered reasonable. However, common complaints include the presence of goose poop around the park and occasionally slimy algae on some inflatables. Suggestions for improvement include adding a water spray to the larger slide to prevent friction burns, more seating areas closer to the inflatables (rather than just at the beach), and the availability of light food, snacks, and drinks for purchase. While a 2-hour pass might be a bit long for younger children (8-year-olds), it's often perfect for older kids and adults.

We had a wonderful time at the Water Park of Minnesota in Rochester. We did the 2 hour pass and that was a bit much for my daughter (8yrs) and myself but my 12 yr old son and husband loved it. We will definitely come back again! Yes, there is goose poop around but the inflatables themselves were pretty clean. The small staff was working hard to clean before we arrived at noon and opened a few minutes late while they continued to clean (and it was apparent that one staff member was late as she showed up later). Life jackets were fitted and then it was time to play. I wish the larger slide had a water spray on it because it hurt going down (almost like rug burn) but otherwise the inflatables were awesome! Wish there was more area to sit and watch right by the inflatables rather than at the beach but room for improvements. Also, some light food/snacks/drinks would have been nice to purchase!

Been here a few times and it's always so much fun, no complaints there but the only thing I dislike is the geese poop and slimy, gross algae covering some of the inflatables. Other than that it's worth it for the price and is fun.

The staff was so kind to the kids. My 6 year old daughter loved it and played for two hours. It was also super adult friendly and can’t wait to bring the boyfriend to play!
