Beautiful Venue. But HORRENDOUS Manager. My sister had her wedding here this past Saturday and TODD WILLIAMS, the “manager” completely ruined her wedding. By the looks of the previous reviews I have seen, my family and I are not the first ones to have a horrible experience with this so called “manager”. Which is unfortunate because the venue is beautiful but definitely NOT worth dealing with Todd.

My husband and I used the Lawrence Preserve as our wedding venue on 5/3/25 and I can’t begin to say enough good things. We had planned an almost completely outdoors event, and the weather took a crazy turn and we were expecting rain almost all day long. Tod and his team were absolutely amazing and kept their cool (and the party going) as the rain picked up and made things a little precarious for our tented reception. Tod was even walking my guests to and from the main building with his umbrella in the rain to make sure they made it safely. You can’t predict the weather, but you can pick an amazing team that you know will help you get through it. Even with the rain, my guests had a great time and couldn’t stop talking about how well everything was handled. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Rome I can highly recommend the Lawrence! Beautiful property, amazing bridal suite, and great people!
