What are people saying (AI review summary)? This city swimming pool is generally appreciated for its affordability, clean water, and features like dual slides, a beach entrance for young kids, a lap pool, and separate children's water play areas. Lifeguards are noted as well-trained, friendly, and strict. However, common criticisms include dated facilities, the lack of a diving area, and insufficient shade, particularly during hot weather. Significant issues also arise from operational reliability, such as unscheduled closures and a lack of prior notification when maximum capacity is reached, leading to frustrating waits. Some reviewers also expressed a desire for a family pass and an extended operating season.

Honestly for a city swimming pool they had a couple of neat pieces. They have dual slides and beach entrance that works great for young kids. They also have a lap pool that works well for exercise. The only thing they didn't have was a diving area of any kind. Definitely a dated pool area but did the job and my kids and I loved the time we spent playing in the water. The lifeguards seemed well trained and friendly to all the swimmers.
Great customer service and very affordable slides are fun nice bathrooms clean water Three pools all connected 1 for the slides one big one for what looks to be a racing pool when not used and a small pool for usually for smaller kids with a water dump and a mushroom spray thing overall fun
People show up on saturday and no one opened up. Typical city govt run operation?
The pool itself is satisfactory along with the water slide. Lifeguards are pretty strict, which is good I guess. The only thing bad about it is that I wish it had a big giant canopy for shade so nobody burns in the Sun like the ones I've seen in Tucson and Phoenix. It doesn't mean that they don't have their own little opening for anybody who wants to do some sunbathing... I would probably go more often and pay for the family pass, if they had one. 😎
Maximum capacity of 250 inside the pool area, no notice of the pool being at maximum capacity prior to your arrival hoping to cool off. So be prepared to wait for some people to leave at the 3pm break if this is the case. Enjoy your summer; only time this pool is open, even though it doesn't cool off here until October.
