We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Bavarian Inn! The room was super clean when we arrived. The housekeeping staff was amazing at checking in to see what we needed. The only concern we had with our room was that the bathtub backed up, which we notified the front desk and were told it would be fixed in a few hours, but it was still backed up the next day when we showered (which happened to be the day we left). Some rooms have microwaves and others do not but there are microwaves on the floors for public use. The kids play area and arcade were great. Lots of options for the whole family. The water park and pools were well staffed with lifeguards. Kids are required to wear life jackets and wear bracelets determining which rides they are tall enough for. Lifeguards rotated frequently and overall it felt very safe and well attended. The whole staff was excellent as employees greeted us in hallways and always seemed happy to assist. Great experience; we will definitely be back!
Rooms are nice and clean. Price wasn't to bad but we stayed during the car show so they probably hiked up the prices for this weekend. Outside is beautiful and clean with flowers all over. The water park is cold and for little kids so that was disappointing. Hey say there are a ton of slides but most of them are for little kids. The family tube slide you need at least 3 people and we only had 2 so we couldn't ride which was disappointing. 3 different restaurants so no need to leave the grounds. Overall our stay was really nice.
Absolutely Exceptional Stay at Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth I am currently here attending an AMT convention, and I cannot praise the Bavarian Inn Lodge enough. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the sheer beauty and pristine condition of this historic gem. The building is impeccably maintained, reflecting a deep respect for its rich heritage. It truly feels like stepping into a piece of European history. The staff here work tirelessly to ensure every guest has a wonderful experience, and their dedication shows in the excellent service we've received. The grounds are peaceful, beautifully landscaped, and evoke a sense of tranquility that adds to the overall charm of the lodge. While I haven't yet explored the fun village, pools, or other amenities, I am already so impressed that I felt compelled to share this review immediately. The architecture and atmosphere remind me of my time living overseas in Germany and Austria, making this place feel like a home away from home. I am genuinely overwhelmed with gratitude for this extraordinary stay and look forward to enjoying the rest of what the Bavarian Inn Lodge has to offer. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a blend of historic elegance and warm hospitality!
We stayed three nights and overall had a great time. We have two girls, ages 8 and 9, and there was plenty to keep them entertained. The water park was one of the better parks we’ve visited with friendly and helpful staff. We rented a cabana for a day and our server Janell was excellent! We also did the ropes course one night and the staff, particularly Esther and Alex (male), was very patient and encouraging to my daughter that was scared to zip line. Negatives - this is definitely not affordable family fun. We spent a lot of money to enjoy our experience. Also, the rooms were very expensive for how small they were and there were no options for a suite with a private bedroom. That said, the service was excellent.
I got married over the weekend at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. We had such a wonderful experience. We have had the wedding planned for a year and a half and our event manager Shannon helped us every step of the way and made the process smooth and as stress free as it could be. Eric our day of coordinator was fantastic and ensured everything went smoothly. If you’re considering having your event or your wedding at the Bavarian Inn I can’t stress this enough: DO IT!! We had so much go wrong, for example, our photographer cancelled the day before, my dress had issues, his tux was messed up…. But our ceremony, the food, and the reception were PERFECT because the Bavarian Inn, Shannon & Eric made it perfect. The rest of the staff at the hotel, in the restaurants, and the party attendants are nothing but friendly. We got so many compliments from our guests at the wedding and today the day after about how good the food was, how nice everyone was, and how beautiful everything came out. 10/10 Thank you Bavarian Inn staff
