We used the Sunflower Summer app to check out the waterpark. My daughters really enjoyed the slide. It was a good size for them, because they were scared to go down the slides at some of the other parks we've been to. It's not as big as some water parks, but it's still a fun day at the pool on a Summer day.

The McPherson pool is a fun spot. Right now in June the beginning of 2025-the water slide, lazy river and the splash pad are all shut down and according to an employee at front desk they have no idea if it will be open this summer. My family traveled 45 min to come here. We found out after paying and walking in all these areas were shut down. We asked for a refund only to be told everything broken with no plan of opening and even 3 min in to admission no refunds were given. Before guest come and pay full price they need to know how many areas are not open.

This is a nice water park. The lazy river is by far the best part, but the fact they have a sprinkler park is also great. It means that during breaks you kids still have things to do. The pool it's self gets really deep, but the shallow end is nice with little waves, a bull dog shaped slide, and a nice round bench with a big umbrella. Concessions also are great. $2 for nachos is a LOT cheaper than most places. That being said there are two major things I did not like. One the sprinklers were SHOOTING water out of them. Like so intensely my kid was scared to play in them. Two... the lockers don't lock. As in I put the same small lock on a locker that I put on every locker I use and you could open the locker still. I talked to someone asking of I was missing something. Talked to 3 people, including a person I assume was a "person in charge" all told me they didn't know why. The in charge person said that it works fine with bigger locks. Well... I don't care if your locks "work with bigger locks". If your lockers don't work with a lock regardless of it's size, then maybe take down the "We aren't responsible for lost or stolen things" Because I didn't realize the locker wasn't locked till I had been there over and HOUR. If something had been stolen it would entirely be on the pool because I had a LOCK on the locker. The reason it doesn't work, btw, is because the hole you slide your lock through is a single hole. You aren't putting it through two like with most lockers. Where one hole is on the locker and stationary and a second hole slides down and you put a lock through both to keep the lock from moving? Yeah no these lockers have a single hole that attaches to nothing. Don't take any valuables here. Like the sprinkler thing was annoying, but the fact I can't keep my belongings safe is the reason I gave it 3 stars. Edit: Well. Locker issue aside this was becoming our favorite pool because it's less busy than salt city splash. We spent all day here the other day this week. Came back today and my son was told he can't have his inflatable seahorse. The same seahorse that he had ALL DAY at the pool just 3 days ago. We even handed it off to a member of staff at the lazy river TWICE. He had it with him for almost 5 hours. Then suddenly today he's not allowed to have it. This place needs to make sure their staff knows the rules so situations like this don't happen. Because after speaking to a manager. There is a sign on the window that says no inflatables. But no where on their rules sign does it say that. And I'm not so much upset he can't have it. I am upset he was allowed to have it an entire day and so then expected he could have it today. All their rules need to be on their rules sign and all staff need to know these rules. Cause if someone had said like 10 minutes into my kid having his seahorse last time "Hey he can't have that in the pool" we wouldn't have had an issue.

The water was warm! It's a huge place, with lots of lifeguards on duty, and even though the lazy river and waterslide have both been broken down for a while, it is still well worth the cost of admission.

Amenities are very nice! Lazy river 😱 so good. Can’t give even 4 stars because of the Lifeguards. They lack of politeness! My kids asked me never take them back there and it was our first time.
