What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the Y highlight a mix of excellent services and areas needing improvement. Positively, the daycare center, particularly Ms. Constance Zimmerman, received high praise for patience, clear instructions, and responsive communication. Many reviewers also lauded the facility as a 'best workout facility' or 'nicest YMCA,' noting its extensive amenities including racquetball courts, a 25-yard pool, and diverse workout options. However, several significant issues were raised: concerns about privacy and quality of shower facilities (specifically in the women's bathroom), dissatisfaction with swimming lessons for beginners (lack of individual attention, inappropriate grouping of skill levels), and problems with membership verification and customer service for existing members.

I had a great experience with the Y's daycare center. Ms. Constance Zimmerman was so patient and understanding. She provided clear instructions on enrollment. Her responsive communication also helped our family navigating the daycare services. I would definitely recommend the Y! Thank you all very much.
Best workout facility in town! They have EVERY THING HERE!! My only complaint (its a small one but still an issue. The SHOWER CURTAINS. They pretty much stay open the whole time so everyone can see you showering. Better shower heads would be nice to. But small price to pay for all the amenities! Seriously though. Please replace the shower stuff in the women’s bathroom.
Not a good place for swimming lessons. My son had never been in a swimming pool before & does not know how to swim. He was in a lesson with kids who already knew how to swim. And who were in the deep end of the pool. And instructors who could not give individual instruction. He was scared and crying. I would not recommend this place for beginner swimmers.
This is one of the nicest ymca's that I have visited. It is a full and complete gym with indoor racquetball courts, a standard 25 yard pool and a gymnastics workout room? Whatever type workout that you want to do you will find limitless options here. My only gripe is that I wish that the indoor track was elevated as opposed to at ground level with the cardio machine and free weights.
He said my membership was not in the YMCA database. He never offered to help me resolve this. It doesn't make sense as I have been a member of Hastings, Nebraska, for many years. I go there on average 4 or 5 days each week.
