About

Relaxing, family-friendly outdoor pool featuring a diving board and kids' slide.

Specific pool temperatures for the Floresville City Pool are not readily available in public information. As an outdoor public pool, its temperature is generally ambient and fluctuates with the weather conditions during its operational season.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This city pool is highly praised for its cleanliness, inviting atmosphere, and crystal-clear saltwater, which is gentle on skin and eyes. Reviewers consistently highlight the diligent, friendly, and observant lifeguards who ensure safety. Key features include an upgraded look, a diving board (though sometimes roped off), a slide for younger children (and sometimes teens/adults), and a beach entry/shallow area perfect for toddlers. Ample shaded picnic tables, lounge chairs, and poolside showers are available. The pool is considered very affordable, with reasonable daily rates and a great value family season pass, further enhanced by the ability to bring your own snacks and drinks. There's also a park next door and plenty of parking. While overwhelmingly positive, common suggestions for improvement include extending the season and hours, particularly to offer year-round access with an enclosure for community and school swim team benefits, and a minor note about needing a new liner.

Glad to see they have upgraded the pool. It looks nice. Wish the city would see the benefits of having it available for more use other then just summer. Maybe enclosure for year round use as the county is in need of a year round swimming option. Not only for the citizens, but the local school districts could then offer swim teams!

Great pool, the lifeguards are very nice and keep a close eye on everyone! It has a diving board, slide for the little kids, beach entry is great for toddlers & sun bathing. Tables with shade are so nice but you should get there early to get one. The $150 season family pass is a great deal for 2 adults & 4 kids! It does need a new liner but that's not too high of a deal.

My kids love jumping off the diving board. And I have a perfect place to sit and relax while watching them.

CLEAN, inviting, refreshing, walk-in salt water pool with sparkling, crystal clear water that's the perfect temperature. Diligent, alert, respectful, friendly, observant life-guards are on duty at all times & you can tell they take their job seriously. There are short lifeguard/adult-only swim breaks at regular intervals (but not so often that it upsets the kiddos). Super reasonable prices- I only paid $14 for me & my 3 daughters (ages 8, 13, & 16). And although they do have a couple of vending machines with snacks & beverages, you are allowed to carry-in your own snacks/drinks from home meaning you & your family can afford to spend a day here at the pool without breaking the bank. There are even shaded picnic tables along the edges of the pool just a few feet from the water & nice lounge chairs you can put wherever you want. The diving board thats in the deep end was roped off when we visited the pool today but it didn't matter because we kept entertained. In past years when we visited the pool the diving board was in use & closely monitored by lifeguards. They have smaller but very sturdy slide in the shallow end of the pool that mostly younger children use (although it's not uncommon to see teens & even an adult here and there zip down the slide into approximately 4 feet of water. JUST MAKE SURE TO SPLASH WATER ON THE SLIDE RIGHT BEFORE YOU USE IT OR YOU'LL BURN YOUR CHEEKS!!Some people brought tubes & other floatation things to float around on as well as balls for playing catch & other pool toys. A family sitting 1 picnic table over from us had brought a radio & was listening at an appropriate volume so as not to disturb anyone else there. There is a women's, a men's, & a family bathroom/changing room & I was surprised by how clean even that area was (well, at least the women's & the family bathrooms were pristine.... I didn't go in the men's room). On the outside wall of the locker rooms there are 2 showers that are poolside for rinsing off. The salt water is gentle on your skin & eyes & swimwear. Another bonus is no harsh chlorine fumes! The only thing I would want changed would be the hours and length of the summer season. Once school begins in Floresville the pool is only open on Saturdays which means I will only get to bring my daughters here twice on this trip to TX. Past summers we were here we'd spend about a third to a half of our afternoons or even entire days at the pool & never got sick of it. I will definitely take into consideration what the pools' hours will be when I plan future visits to TX. The atmosphere at Floresville's city pool is just that awesome!

Great location with picnic tables and shade available. Pool goes up to 12 feet with a diving board. There is also a perfect shallow area for younger children. There is a park right next door. Plenty of Parking.
