Not suitable for strollers during golf. Have to pay online for the deals. Otherwise it's $10+. It was really fun. Inside concession only. Can't take food or water inside. You get a bracelet so you can go in and out of the park. Bring your own life jackets for small children.
I was able to get tickets on discount. Would not pay full price for this place. Overall my children had fun but the place seems to be run by teenagers. My family and I got on the go carts and young kid there had an attitude the entire time. The staff running the high priced food counter were very nice. The young lady riding on the train for the “zoo” was ok after while. Some of the guest would have questions about animals and she’d have a dry response. I’d say this place is good for younger children. My older kids got bored near the end of our visit. Bath house was nasty. Overall I wouldn’t go back
We loved the Jr. Zookeeper experience! Not only was our zookeeper knowledgeable and friendly, he was also quick to take pictures and answer questions. Being able to play with and feed the kangaroos was a once in a lifetime experience! We also enjoyed the lemurs and baby goats. Feeding the turtle was a kick too. The go karts were so-so and the mini golf was OK. The real deal is the Jr. zookeeper! Call ahead and be ready for an early morning experience that is so worth it (and we are even from the country & used to baby animals).
This was our first visit to monsoon Lagoon. After visiting the website and seeing what the price of tickets were, I decided to check out Groupon and thank goodness was able to purchase Groupon for $49. There was a group of seven of us. I also noticed that the top of the webpage in both letters was no outside food allowed even in the parking lot. We arrived at 10 AM to Stroll the zoo portion. I was impressed with the amount of animals, however, Your signage needs updating! Something on my bucket list is to interact with a sloth. Imagine how excited I was when I saw the two signs telling me that I could have an interaction with a sloth!!!!! I quickly ran up to the counter only to find out… You share a sloth with another zoo and that sloth is at the other zoo for the rest of the season. There were two signs for that!!! Take them down!!!! Also, there was a sign for a 2024 season pass. I would hope those are free now. We walked over to the waterpark shortly after 11 AM when it opened. I don’t have anything negative to say about the waterpark other than the rust was kind of tacky on in the kids area. Your food prices are outrageous! After spending $70 on a ticket if you didn’t go to Groupon, Why would you think it would be OK to charge $35 for a pizza? Or six dollars for a chili dog? Or three dollars for a bottle of water? That’s why I’m really glad that we did pack a lunch in our car and went out and ate it in the parking lot. I did use your concession stand for some free water, however, the water was absolutely Dump it out. I would never pay full price to visit this place. My suggestion is to get on Groupon and hope that they have one. I don’t plan on returning.
First time here and it was a blast. Definitely recommend on hot days with plenty of activities for all ages, splash park, 18 holes of mini gilf, go karts, bumper boats, tubing too! Don't forget to visit the nice zoo...
