We’ve had a fantastic experience with the British Swim School at the Hilton Garden Inn! My son has been attending since July 2024, and the progress he’s made is truly impressive. The instructors are incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and they do a great job balancing safety with fun. He’s learned essential survival skills and continues to improve his swimming techniques each week. It’s amazing to see how much more confident he is in the water. A special shout-out to Liv, Eleanor, and Scott — they’ve each played a big role in his development. They’re always encouraging, professional, and truly care about helping each child succeed. The program is well-structured, and the staff is always welcoming. Highly recommend for any parent looking to give their child a strong foundation in water safety and swimming!

The Santa Rosa class at the Hilton Garden Inn has been perfect for my son. He absolutely loves the teachers and lifeguard/hosts. The pool is small, making it welcoming for timid swimmers. Scott, one of the lifeguard/hosts, is especially kind and incredibly encouraging to all the kids -- even if he's soaking wet from having to jump into the pool with street clothes. We've only been attending classes for a couple of months, but we feel like part of the British Swim School family. All staff have been extremely patient (and I mean extremely) as they’ve helped me navigate enrollment and make up missed classes. There’s always such a positive, high-energy vibe, and my son, loves his swim lessons—often taking multiple classes in a day. I can't recommend this place enough! Shout out to the following teachers: Ivy, Quinn, and Will :)

I absolutely the British Swim school! There’s an app which makes it really easy to report an absence. The staff members are always willing to help! Scott has helped me with scheduling a make up and finding a class to enroll my son into and then even took the time to fit both my kids into the same class to better manage my schedule. Ivy, Lizzy, Quinn have worked with my kids and they are very patient and encouraging with my 5 and 7 year old and have increased the water skills and confidence! My kids are always excited to go to swim class and they have learned so much in just the 2 months they have been attending.

Can’t say enough good things about the BSS. Scott M., Liv V, and Terps have been the absolute best for my daughter in her swim journey! They had my 4 year old pool ready in three months and She loves it sooo much that she still goes twice a week. I can truly say that in working with Scott, her willingness and dedication to learning has increased ten fold. I foresee us staying with BSS for her entire swim journey. Beyond highly recommend!!!

We couldn’t be happier with The British Swim School! Our son has gained so much confidence in his lessons, and that’s thanks to the amazing staff. Scott is always so welcoming and was a wonderful instructor. We’ve been lucky to have lessons with Will, Ivy, Ellie, and Lizzie too. If I knew every name, I’d list them all—because truly, this entire team goes above and beyond!
