What are people saying (AI review summary)? The establishment receives highly mixed reviews. The lounge/bar area is consistently praised for its excellent and knowledgeable bartenders (specifically Roberta), well-mixed drinks, hot and tasty food, and enjoyable atmosphere with music and pool. The restaurant also generally receives positive feedback for its very good food, huge portions (with cinnamon rolls being a standout item), friendly staff, and outstanding, attentive service, particularly from younger servers. However, a specific breakfast experience highlights significant issues with slow service, long waits, missed orders, and a possibly understaffed environment, though the food quality (cinnamon roll being doughy) was also noted. The most severe negative feedback is directed at the motel accommodations, which are described as incredibly dirty, having mouse droppings, offering horrible service, and providing disgusting food, leading to a strong recommendation to avoid staying there.

We did not stay at the inn. We were at the lounge. Roberta was the bartender the night we visited - EXCELLENT bartender. She was friendly made helpful suggestions and was knowledgeable. We enjoyed the pool table and music. There was no DJ that night but the jukebox had good choices. the food was hot and tasty. Drinks were mixed well. The Purple helmet warriors and the Cheers B***h were mixed well and good.
Incredibly dirty rooms, horrible service, food was incredibly disgusting. My eggs underdone. The staff was being horrible to me and I found mouse droppings in my room. Don't wasted your money on this terrible restaurant and motel.
I'm sure it was due to a busy rainy morning and a couple of staff working the floor. This was a 2 hour long breakfast. Took quite a while for my drink order to be taken, after getting the waitresses' attention while walking past me several times and taking someone else's order that came in after me. While waiting an unusually while for my basic breakfast, I was then asked what I'd like to order, which I already ordered. Well the crash of dishes that I heard not long before, was apparently my breakfast. Therefore, I waited quite a while again to receive my classic breakfast. I'm a patient person, but the restaurant was nearly empty by the time I received my food and ate, when most came in after me. Cinnamon rolls looked amazing and were huge. Got one for another day, reheated in the oven, still quite doughy towards the middle.
Great place, even better food, huge portions, and don't forget the cinemon roll. Friendly staff, family atmosphere. If you're in newberry you definitely wanna stop. Just be hungry
