What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives mixed reviews, with many patrons appreciating its cleanliness, relaxing atmosphere, and amenities like a diving board, slide, and snack area. Senior citizens praised the attentive lifeguards, well-behaved children, and affordable pricing. It's noted as a good option for families and kids, offering swimming lessons and often having several employees on duty, including those grilling food. Positive aspects also include ample parking and shaded seating. However, a major point of dissatisfaction centers on inconsistent and incorrect operating hours, random closures, and an early closing schedule relative to the season. Some reviewers expressed disappointment with a perceived lack of lifeguard intervention for unsafe child behavior and wished the kiddie pool was open more often. Additionally, one review mentioned horse flies as an issue.

We are senior citizens we went swimming at this pool yesterday.Found it very nice and relaxing. The life guards really paid attention to their surroundings.Children at pool westwell behaved. It was clean. And the price for older people was only 3$ a person. VERY GOOD SWIMMING PLACE.THE LIFE GUARDS HAD IT TOGETHER. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR A NICE DAY.
Besides the horse flies that attack you, this is a great local pool to cool off during the hot summer. Lots of parking, shaded seating and the pool is clean
Offers swimming lessons. Good way for the younger kids to cool off. My younger girls enjoy this pool and time spent here. There were 4-6 employees on duty when attending the weekend. Pool offers a diving board, slide, and snack area. There was also another employee who grilled burgers and hotdogs to sell. No major issues with pool or staff. It would be nice to see the kiddie pool open.
Inconsistent hours and schedule. Closes weeks before the Labor Day and opens weeks after Memorial Day. Hours get all wonky because of the camps and most of the time they say they’re open and then you get there to find them closed. Their prices have remained consistent for locals and I do appreciate that aspect but I wish they would take it more seriously since it’s the only real public pool in the area.
The early closings, incorrect hours on here & fb, random closures, cost of small children, and closures during so many times and days are why I refuse to go back there after last year and why I’ve told all the moms I’m friends with the same. Disappointed. Also disappointed with how little policing there was of children diving, jumping, throwing each other and being generally dangerous as life guards just watched.
