About

Nisqually Pines Pool, located at 16949 Port Orford Blvd SE, Yelm, WA 98597, USA, serves as a community amenity primarily for residents of the Nisqually Pines neighborhood. It is an outdoor, seasonal facility typically open during the warmer months, offering a family-friendly environment for swimming and recreation. The pool area generally includes a main pool and often a shallower section or wading area, providing a local spot for leisure and exercise.

Specific pool temperatures for the Nisqually Pines Pool are not consistently advertised or readily available in public descriptions. As an outdoor, seasonal community pool, its temperature likely fluctuates with ambient conditions, though it may be heated to a comfortable range during its operational season for swimmer enjoyment.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews offer a mixed perspective on the facilities. Positive feedback frequently highlights clean pool areas and event spaces, excellent swimming programs for all ages, and a strong community atmosphere with 'awesome neighbors.' One specific pool attendant, Chris, was praised for being great with kids and patrons. However, a significant negative point involved a rude and rule-misquoting pool attendant, leading to an unwelcoming and 'verbally abusive' experience. Other observations include the pool's seasonal closure in colder months (e.g., February) and a basic, open-plan clubhouse that some found suitable for small summer gatherings.

Not a great experience. The pool attendant must have been overworked or stressed out, as they treated the swimmers very rudely and misquoted the rules. It was as if fun is not permitted within the confines of those walls. If the HOA wasn't already taking a grip of money for the service every month, I wouldn't return. Might as well get my money's worth. It would be nice to opt in so I don't have to pay to be verbally abused.

It is February and the "pool" isn't open yet. I was at the "clubhouse" because there was a community sorta yard sale event in the building this was my very FIRST time actually stepping foot into the building and I've lived in the Pines for 4 years now. It was basically just an open living room area with a kitchen area too. Might be a good place to rent out IF you have a small grouo to entertain in the summer time

Awesome neighbors outweigh the very few negatives. Great swiming program for outdoor pool and all ages. No life guard but supervision to remind swimmers to be responsible and asked to leave if not able to. Monthly news report and activities.
