What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool is largely described as exquisite, beautiful, and a 'hidden gem' with lush landscaping and various amenities including a hot tub, lap pool, spray ground, and social areas. While some praise the lifeguards for their devotion and ensuring safety, others express significant concerns about lifeguards not enforcing rules, lacking safety awareness for roughhousing teens and older children, and reacting unprofessionally to guest complaints. There is also mention of confusing staff rotation and a perceived lack of experienced management. A crucial point highlighted is that it is a 'members only' pool, a fact not always clearly communicated online.

The pool here is exquisite. Upon coming here for my first time this last year I discovered a hidden gem in the PNW. From the lush landscaping to the tip top service of the lifeguards, I found myself falling in love with the PBV pool community within a week. Each lifeguard is devoted to their job and I never once found myself in danger or in any worry of getting injured under the watchful eye of the crew. It's honestly difficult to put the quality of the pool into words, it was that special.
Great pool with hot tub, waiting pool, lap pool and spray ground, fuseball tables. There is also a bar and a snake shack. However, the lifeguards seem to not enforce the rules or concerned about the safety of guests. Older kids running around, teens rough housing, one almost smacked his head into a spray ground post in the kiddy pool while toddlers were trying to get into the pool. I brought it up to the attention to one of the life guards that seemed to be shocked that someone is talking to them and gave an eye roles and not saying anything rather than an slow eating grin and then gossip what happen with the fellow life guard with finger pointing. You got whistles use them once in while. The inn at pleasent beach seems to have their staff on roation. One day you can be a life guard, next at check in the other time might be a worker at The Market. it's strange to see everything well thought out and designed but skipped out of hiring a manager with indepth experience as it seems no one is present.
Members only- not a public pool. Unfortunately they did not include this very important fact in any of their information on Google maps. Still a beautiful pool, I wish I could go.
