Branch of the YMCA chain featuring pools, plus fitness classes and cardio workouts.
This specific branch (West Washington) does not have any swimming pools.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The YMCA is broadly lauded as a beautiful, modern, and well-maintained facility, consistently praised for its extensive amenities and being open on Sundays. Highlights include a 25-meter lap pool with a deep end and diving board, a 'lazy river' pool with water slides (excellent for families), and well-equipped free-weight and aerobic training areas. Other facilities noted are gymnastics, two basketball courts, a small track, and full-service daycare, with staff consistently described as friendly. The facility is currently undergoing upgrades, including an expansion of the free-weight gym. However, a significant negative point raised concerns about membership and financial assistance policies; one family reported being unable to afford full membership after their reduced discount was removed due to an income increase, and their financial assistance application was declined without considering their debt-to-income ratio, number of children, or the impact of inflation, leading to their children being removed from classes and profound disappointment.

This facility is improving and is a great place to spend a few hours with the kids. This location has two slides, lazy river/water walking, and a lap pool. There's a small 1/16th of a mile track, weights, gymnastics, and cardio room. Staff is always really friendly.
This place is absolutely amazing for a great family day. Being open on Sunday is a true blessing too! Their pool area is awesome!
This is a beautiful, updated, and well maintained YMCA. I have been coming here since I was a kid for lessons and now I’m a regular swimmer. Having a Y open on a Sunday is awesome as well.
Modern, clean and very well equipped YMCA. 25 meter half course pool with deep end and diving board. Excellent for lap swim, lessons and open swim (check pool schedules). Pool is also used for SCUBA training the county EMS dive rescue teams. The "lazy river" pool along with water slides is a nice way to relax and just have fun with the family and children. Well equipped free weight area with Hammer Strength.equipment. Dumbbells, kettlebells and curling bars. Several Max Racks. Aerobic training area with treadmills, bike, and ellipticals. Selectorized circuit training area. Gymnastics area, 2 basketball courts. Full service daycare. It is well worth the dues for a decent fitness facility. Update Feb 2024: remodel in process. Will be expanding and upgrading the free-weight gym. Other upgrades coming.
We've been YMCA members for years and were blessed to have a greatly reduced discount because of our income and family size. This past year though, we used our membership very little as our older kids were very busy with highschool sports and we just didn't have as much time for the younger kids to be involved at the Y. Well finally this changed earlier this year and I got my younger kids signed up for spring and summer classes. I didn't realize at some point this spring our membership lasped and I finally turned in the application for membership on the first day of gymnastics (which my daughter had been begging to return to for months). Well because we were no longer members, after that first class she got removed. I asked for grace, because we had paid for a membership for months but had not used it at all. No, this was not an option. My kids were removed from all classes because we were no longer members and could not pay full price. My daughter was devastated, and really was looking forward to going again. She kept a good attitude in spite of the disappointment. However, returning to Y gymnastics is not going to happen. It turns out our application for financial assistance was declined because our income has gone up. However, this is frustrating! We are still struggling even though income has increased. Our debt to income ratio is not anything the Y sees. We also pay tuition. We have 5 kids (3 are teenage boys) and inflation is CRAZY hard on our grocery bill and the amount we spend on gas. We can't afford a family membership at full price. I don't know when we can. But not soon. This is really very sad for my entire family!
