Clean outdoor pool with a diving board and slides, plus toddler-friendly zones.
Specific pool temperatures for the Plymouth Aquatic Center are not readily advertised. As a seasonal outdoor facility, water temperatures are primarily influenced by ambient weather conditions, making it suitable for recreational swimming during the summer operating season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The aquatic facility elicits mixed reviews from visitors. While some commend it as a great family destination for hot days with reasonable rates, a good concession stand, and present lifeguards, several significant criticisms are frequently highlighted. A primary point of contention is the strict 'No Flotation' policy, which prohibits young children and babies from wearing life jackets or floaties, causing frustration for parents and leading some to state there's nothing for 'littles.' Additionally, the swim test required for slides and diving boards is often perceived as overly strict or subjective, with even capable swimmers failing due to technique. There was also a specific complaint about a negative encounter with a lifeguard regarding unjust rule enforcement and poor customer service. Some reviewers express nostalgia for the 'old pool,' feeling that the current 'aquatic park' design prioritizes a 'child play-place' atmosphere over supporting 'actual swimming,' despite one positive mention of a large area for smaller children. Overall, while having positive aspects, the facility's policies and rule enforcement are significant deterrents for some patrons.

I grew up swimming in this pool , loved it. I brought my children here today to swim - insane that they don’t allow children and babies to wear any life floatation life jackets?! I asked why as my children are not swim safe- the manager responded stating “ floaties give children false sense of confidence “- okay well they are 3 and 1. As the parent I would like to make that call - then they wouldn’t allow my niece to go down the slides even though she swam from one end of the pool all the way across just fine twice - they failed her swim test due to her technique?! Give me a break . Will not return
Good family adventure destination for those hot days. Downside is there isnt anything for littles and they have a No Flotation policy. They had 2 slides and a diving board but anyone who wants to use it has to pass a swim test. All in all its a nice pool with reasonable rates but there are definitely others that are better.
Got kicked out by a female lifeguard because they had the wrong rule breakers. Wouldn’t hear us out & let us tell her we weren’t doing anything wrong. Kicked us out and told us not to give her attitude because “we know what we were doing and can’t lie.”
A great place to enjoy the great outdoors. A wonderful place for the entire family. Pool has a large area for smaller children and a nice area for people who can swim and enjoy the water slide. A nice concession stand with a wide selection of items. A good number of tables to enjoy your food as well. Lifeguards on duty in case of an emergency. A great experience.
Really miss the old pool. The aquatic park really doesn't support actual swimming. It is very child play-place
