Beach area with an inflatable course on the water, plus kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.
The park utilizes a natural freshwater quarry for its activities, rather than traditional heated pools. Consequently, the water temperature is unheated and varies naturally with ambient weather conditions, typically being warmest during the summer operating season. No specific heated pool temperatures are available.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This Sheboygan attraction is widely considered a fun and amazing place, particularly for families with kids who enjoy the water obstacle course and beach. Positive aspects include friendly and helpful staff, good safety measures like required life vests, clean facilities, comfortable chairs on the beach, and available snacks. The park also offers an 18-hole disc golf course with scenic wooded areas. Many visitors appreciate the large parking lot and suggest going early to avoid crowds. However, some reviews mention that the inflatables show signs of wear, with broken handles and parts that are difficult to climb, and note that the equipment can be very slippery. Minor critiques include the condition of the viewing deck and back stairs, and a warning that fish in the water may nibble. While many found it a great value and worth traveling for, some felt the $15 price was high given the condition of certain elements.

Definitely a great place to check out if you’re in Sheboygan. Kids had a lot of fun one sessions just the perfect amount of time for our group. No, they could improve the viewing deck and the back stairs of the building are looking pretty rough. Also, their fish are quite hungry. Yes, they will nibble on you. Freak you out if you don’t know what’s going on just a heads up.
Very cool place. First of all, all the employees we encountered were very nice and helpful. They're only seem to be a few, but they were working hard. I know every place is kind of shorthanded right now, so awesome that they can keep this place open. This park has a large parking lot, and we went early to try to beat the rush. For the first hour and a half or so it was not busy at all. They do require life vests if going on the equipment, which is an awesome extra safety precaution. This is especially good because there are not lifeguards. If just using the beach and staying in the shallow, they're not required. The water was fairly warm, and the equipment was in very good shape. Sturdy. Kids appear to have a good time, although to forewarn you, the equipment is slippery due to the water. Nothing you can really do to fix that, and my kids didn't seem to mind, but they probably fell dozens of times. I probably would have died. True story. The beach does have a variety of different types of lawn chairs available- bonus you don't have to drag your own here, yay! As it got to be later in the day, it did get busier. Warmer too. There are restrooms in the main building, a variety of snacks for sale- candy, chips, ice cream, and a couple of kayaks you can take into the quarry.
This place is amazing! My kids had a blast and were exhausted after a hr on the course. The beach is beautiful and the chairs were comfortable. The facilities were clean as well. These pictures were from a year ago when we visited for the first time. We live 4hrs away but will be visiting again this month! My kids are so excited! I wish we had somewhere closer to home like this but sheboygan in general is a great place to visit and vacation!
My boyfriend and I enjoy coming to the Quarry for the 18 hole disc golf course. From the 7th basket and beyond is so amazingly beautiful walk through the woods . We have also walked around the quarry water pond it's always a wonderful feeling being in the great outdoors. I love Sheboygan.
It was ok. You can tell the inflatables have been there for a while. Some of the handles used to pull yourself out of the water and on to them are busted. Some of the inflatables are almost impossible to get up on and others are extremely difficult to climb up on. In my opinion it’s not worth the $15. There are other inflatable water parks that are cheaper and better than this one.
