It offers good facilities, including easily accessible boat launches/ramps, courtesy docks, and sufficient parking. We enjoyed going here. Plenty of parking. Peaceful, lots of birds, great fishing and kayaking. The boat ramp looks easy accessible and wide.

I have never seen such a huge body of water all dried out. It was so interesting to see and walk around the area knowing that you could stand right in the center of it and years ago it used to be probably way deep over your head. There is a boat launch there. All so parking area you are probably able to fish off the dock at one point. Definitely check it out if you are interested in seeing a dried out river it was definitely very interesting to me.

I went night fishing with my daughter and son-in-law on his boat. That was the first time I'd been fishing in 30 years. We had an amazing time. We caught 2 crappie and 10 striped bass. It was so wonderful to get back on the lake, under the stars and breathing fresh air again. It was dark so we couldn't see much but it was still a very beautiful place. I'm looking forward to returning and enjoying it again.

I love this place, it hasn't been overly crowded (yet), the facilities are always clean, and the pair of ducks are always on standby to clean up any leftover picnic food. 😋 Also, my 4-year old LOVES going swimming here! 🙂
