What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews suggest this location, a large park in Sheridan, offers a pool that is generally considered a good and affordable place for families and kids, particularly in the summer, with some noting its historical appeal. However, there are significant criticisms, especially regarding extremely poor and unresponsive front desk service. Some users feel the pool has declined, citing a new rule banning water wings that negatively impacts younger children, and that it often becomes too busy for them to enjoy. An upcoming remodel is seen as much needed, with a specific suggestion for investing in new patio sun shades. The expansive park amenities include a creek, concert venue, ice cream stand, grill area, large playground, and ample parking, though a strict no-overnight camping policy is enforced.

Great place to enjoy the pool with your family. I was a little disappointed in the 3 girls working the front desk. A native gentleman approached the counter just before me and asked them if they provided floaties, implying for the child he had with him. None of the 3 acknowledged him. They stared blankly at him and then at eachother and never acknowledged he had even said anything. I stood there for a while and patiently waited. Finally I asked "What are we doing?!" They didn't even respond to me. It was not apparent at all who was in charge or that any of them were actually working.
Great for kids in the summer. The upcoming remodel is much needed. Cheap entry fee.
The pool has kind of gone downhill since i was a kid. The lifeguard informed us that they no longer allow water wings and it basically ruined the pool for our kids seeing as they are too skinny/small for other means and water wings have always been allowed. not to mention that its just way too busy most the time for younger kids to actually enjoy themselves
The biggest park in the city of Sheridan. The park is accessible from West loucks st. It borders a creek, has a concert venue, an ice cream stand in the summer. There's a grill area, plenty of parking, plenty of large trees, sculptures, and a large jungle gym. There's no overnight camping, strictly enforced by frequent police presence.
The pool has all ways been awesome. It might be time for the recreation department of Sheridan wy to put a little more money into it for new patio sun shades though.
