Awesome pool, very big and clean. Only lost a star because the 3 times we were there this past week, there were only ever 2 lifeguards actually watching the pool. The other 4 were hanging out in the boathouse. This pool is WAY too big for only two lifeguards to be watching it. I'm a strong swimmer and it still took me over a minute to swim the width, likely a minute and a half to swim the length. That's WAY too long of a response time, assuming they could even SEE someone in trouble from that far away.

This pool used to be a great place to swim and enjoy the day until there was new management. The customer service here is awful and the manager is disrespectful to the customers that come to visit. He has awful attitude towards the friends of the workers who try to stop by to say hi. This is a prime example of immaturity in a work place. You should never unload all your anger and your frustration on a customer because they came to say hi to an employee. It is good to be focused and respectful in the work place, but there should not be such a rude and disrespectful tone directed at the workers or the customers at this establishment. Not only was there disrespect to the customers and visitors, but to the employees as well. The employees have experienced disrespect from the manager as well and seem to be judged and negatively placed on a pyramid in the work place. Employees don’t feel respected or happy in the work place there because of the rude behaviors the manger implies on the customers. I work at a restaurant and understand the importance of customer service and maturity in a local place, and the public pool’s snack shack manager lacks all the fundamentals. At my work place, my manager would never lash out on a customer like that because of their own personal problems or annoyances. I find I will never encourage anyone to get involved with the snack shack part of the pool, for it has negatively gone down.

Awesome old school vibe. Showers are a bit weird and there was a lovely sign in the men's restroom asking ppl not to poop in the urinal:) would recommend to a friend

We travel across the country during summers and often stop in Buffalo because we love this pool! It's clean, the grounds are spotless, the changing rooms are clean, and the people are very nice!
