We LOVED our stay at the Lancaster Manor B&B! Connie & John were the best hosts! They greeted us refreshments when we arrived, gave us a tour of the manor and served the most delicious breakfast the next morning! I highly recommend staying here if you decide to go to the WinStar casino - (we went to see a concert) Anyway, can't say enough nice things about this B&B and the hosts! It was also nice to meet the other guests - what a relaxing getaway!
Absolutely loved our stay! This B&B has the perfect balance of comfort, charm, and hospitality. From the cozy atmosphere to our friendly hosts Connie and John who made us feel like family, everything was top-notch. The room was spotless and beautifully styled, and the breakfast was fresh, delicious, and made with care. It’s clear a lot of love goes into running this place. We’re so glad we found it—and we’ll definitely be back!
This town would be incomplete without Connie and John. From the moment we arrived we were wowed with their kindness and hospitality. The manor is luxurious and accommodating. We stayed in the Rose room and the Blue Bonnet room, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. They had a garden with a pool that feels like swimming in clear, clean freshwater. It is very clean, but did not irritate my skin in the manner of most pools. There is also a clean, outdoor hot tub that each visitor can customize as they see fit. Their lush, green garden has a perfectly groomed bocci ball court, hibiscus trees, and feels like an oddly peaceful oasis near the town center. From the moment we arrived we had a constant supply of fresh, warm-from-the-oven baked goods made from scratch, plus wine and everything else we needed, and most of it was free. Only some of the alcohol cost extra, but even that was very reasonably priced and good quality. The bedrooms were pretty and comfortable, with all the amenities you'd expect from a luxury BnB. They provided decanters of clean water, fresh coffee and everything we needed - things for which other places would normally charge. We were there in September and it was beautiful and lavish, beyond my expectations. But despite the luxuries, the hosts were very easy to talk to and seem like friendly, adventurous, down to earth travelers who settled down and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. Lancaster Manor feels like it might fit into an opulent Jane Austen setting, but without being pretentious. We hope to come back and visit in December, to see the seasonal decorations, but it sounds like it sells out quickly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, comfortable, pleasant, relaxed and romantic bed and breakfast.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Their genuine hospitality truly set the tone for the entire stay. The house itself is full of character and charm—thoughtfully decorated, impeccably clean, and rich with little details that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook. Whether relaxing in the cozy sitting room or enjoying a delicious homemade breakfast in the sunlit dining area, every space invited comfort and conversation. John & Connie went above and beyond to make our visit special. It’s rare to find a place that feels both so personal and so professionally run. This bed & breakfast is a true gem—we left feeling relaxed and recharged. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and heartwarming getaway! Location couldn’t be more ideal as it is only 15 minutes from WinStar Resort & Casino!!!
My fiancé booked an overnight reservation for my birthday weekend as we explored all over the DFW region. We've always enjoyed Bed & Breakfasts, and this experience topped all others! John and Connie are truly amazing humans. They excelled not only at hosting, but also at cooking and conversation! The house is beautifully preserved and well-appointed. The grounds are beautifully manicured and peaceful, complete with a hot tub, pool, yard games, and garden. We stayed in the spacious Rose Room and were provided with fresh baked goods (including a birthday cupcake!) to snack on before our incredible private supper - cooked by Chef Connie and served by John. The meal and service provided that night rivaled that of Michelin star establishments. Breakfast, cooked by Chef John and served by Connie, was another tasty experience despite the power going out earlier due to a storm. They went to great efforts in ensuring a small power outage did not affect the overall experience and cuisine! Before checking out, we relaxed on the front porch and sipped on our coffee as we watched the rain fall. Their meticulous attention to detail and service was instrumental in providing a memorable stay that leaves you yearning for another reservation as soon as you leave the property. We can't wait to return and will make sure Gainesville is our destination for more than a day and a half. Thank you John and Connie! -Dick and Bailey
