About

Pool featuring a slide and a diving board, as well as swimming lessons.

The indoor main pool at the Snowflake Aquatic Center is heated, typically maintained at approximately 82-84°F (28-29°C). A separate hot tub is available, usually heated to a warmer range of 100-104°F (38-40°C).

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility receives praise for its recent restoration, clean locker rooms, and a friendly, professional staff. Many appreciate the economical rates, variety of offerings like open swim and lessons, and its role as a great community spot for family fun. However, significant complaints center on an excessive number of strict and inconsistently applied rules, with lifeguards frequently blowing whistles for minor actions, particularly regarding children and access to deeper sections. Cleanliness is inconsistently reported, with some reviewers noting dirty restrooms and an unpleasant pool odor, while others found the facilities clean and the pool temperature ideal. Some also found the 'heated' pool to be cold and the locker rooms chilly.

Rules coming out your ears! They have a "basic" list of rules on the wall, but thankfully for them, if it's not listed, rule #1 has them covered. It basically says, "whatever the lifeguards and staff say is a rule, is THE rule." According to the manager "their lawyers drew them up that way on purpose". There was dirty toilet paper on the floor in the showering areas in both changing rooms I went into, as well as pee all over the toilets. The pool smelled of literal poop. Not very clean. I definitely will not be going there again and I don't recommend anyone to go if you actually want to play in the pool with your kids. Every move we made we got a whistle. Can't go to the deep end to do laps, can't swim to close to the ropes that section off areas, can't really do much as an adult in that pool since it's so shallow and the deep ends are only for the slide or the diving board. And even if no one is in the deep end around the slide or diving board, you still can't go there unless you're jumping off the board or going down the slide. They had a goggle "borrow bucket", which I thought was nice, but if they're all broke, what's the point? If I could give it a zero and still leave a review, I would. Huge huge disappointment!

Absolutely amazing restoration and renovation at this site. Much is offered here! Lifeguards on duty. Clean environment, great locker rooms, private dressing room, and showers. Kind, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Economical rates. Open swim, swimming lessons, aqua therapy on specific days/times, special events. Many are very grateful this site reopened and meet up here. Great family fun!!

So me and my little siblings went one time and my little sister can't swim yet and I was helping her get the life jacket on after I put it on her she started to swim around at one point she ended up upsidedown and I helped her up and carried her across the pool to get her out of the pool to breathe and they blew their whistle at me saying I can't carry her and then they got mad at her for holding onto me later, then for a piggy back ride, and then swimming around her under water it's just stupid so many rules no matter what you do theyblow the whistle at you and then they say it's a heated pool but it's cold very cold and they have AC in the locker room where you have to change it's not fun to go into a cold room soaking wet

It's a great community pool. It has a slide and diving board. You can buy annual passes or just day passes. You can rent the pool out too! My only complaint is that the mommy and me/homeschool time from 12-2 on Tuesdays only has half of the pool open, the half without the slide or diving board yet the price is the same and it's only for 2 hours. That part sucks but it's still nice to have the option.

I like to lap swim in the early morning. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pool is the perfect temperature for swimming. The showers and locker room are clean.
