About

The Snyder City Pool is a public outdoor aquatic facility located at 2521 Towle Park Rd N in Snyder, TX. It serves as a popular seasonal destination for recreational swimming, typically operating during the summer months. The pool often features amenities such as a main swimming area, diving boards, and water slides, making it a family-friendly spot for cooling off and enjoying aquatic activities.

Specific, maintained pool temperatures for the outdoor Snyder City Pool are not generally advertised or publicly available. As a seasonal outdoor facility, its water temperature naturally fluctuates with ambient weather conditions throughout its operational period.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool generally receives positive feedback, often described as 'solid,' 'dope,' and 'tons of fun,' particularly for families. Patrons appreciate its cleanliness, the presence of a diving board and a 'nice' slide, ample parking, and an affordable snack shack where all items are $1. The entry fee is $3, with a free splash pad conveniently located nearby. However, there are some criticisms: one user reported a significant discrepancy between the website's stated closing time (6 PM) and actual enforcement (5 PM), leading to a premature departure. Other points mentioned include its seasonal operation (Memorial Day to early August), limited covered seating (with no lounge chairs), and a suggestion that it 'needs an upgrade.'

We showed up at 5 to swim for 1 hour but they told us we had to leave because they said it closed at 5 but the website said it closed at 6. Am I the problem?

Like most west Texas pools this pool is only open from when the schools are out to when they go back in (memorial weekend- first week of August) - most the lifeguards are teenagers. The parking lot is huge and there were no issues with parking. The cost to get in is $3. The pool is right next to the splash pad- however- the splash pad is free. They have one covered area from the sun that fills rather quickly. I wish they had some lounging chairs but there is enough space to just lie out a towel. They have a very nice slide that has a gentle bend. They also have a diving board. The pool ranges in depth up to 9 feet. It’s a clean and nice pool. Everything at the snack shack is $1- which is very nice. Overall- it’s a solid pool.
