Large campus swimming pool, plus a lobby with displays showcasing sports legends.
Specific pool temperatures for Rolfs Aquatic Center are not consistently published, but competition pools of this standard are generally maintained for optimal training and competition, typically ranging between 79-81°F (approximately 26-27°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the facility are mixed. While some consider it a very nice pool and appreciate its large size for events, others express disappointment, calling it dated for a Division 1 college and noting that some high school pools are nicer. Common criticisms include the spectator area being too hot, swimmers having difficulty exiting the pool, and an unkempt back entrance. A recurring and significant issue is the inaccurate or outdated online schedule, which has led to frustration and people being turned away. Positive aspects highlighted are the cool lobby with sports legends, the unique view into the Joyce Center, and its overall suitability for swimming, despite its 'a little out of the way' location.

Very disappointed for a div 1 college. The natatorium at south side high school in fort Wayne is a lot nicer. This place was very hot for spectators and swimmers complained it was hard to get out of pool. But the had doors open to joyce center and that was really neat to see. Plus they have a really cool lobby with all the sports legends from coaches to players in every sport.
Very nice place to swim, but I second another reviewer's comment on hours not being updated online. Myself and another guy (who was on crutches, actually) were at the door and told the pool was closed. I said the website stated 11-1 as open during non academic hours and was told RecSports doesn't do a good job updating the website. So with that said, please do accurately state online what times the pool is open during breaks. I was bummed, but felt really bad for the man who walked in on crutches to exercise, only to be turned away.
Nice pool. Very dated. Probably the worst thing is the back door they want you to enter to get to the pool. Literally a unkempt back door. However it is one of the larger college pools I've been to for events. It is sad that high schools have nicer pools than most universities.
Very nice facility . A little out of the way. But, definitely a very nice place !
I love this pool, although sometimes they don’t update their web schedule on time.
