Horrible experience with room reservation and cancelation. My wife reserved 3 rooms but we had to cancel 2 of the rooms while still reservation the third. (It was a suite that we had booked for almost a year) We arrive the check in and all the rooms were canceled. We had email confirmation about the two rooms canceled and nothing about a third room... So they were able to put us up in a regular room for one night but not for two nights like we originally booked for. The front desk was going to speak to their manager about trying to fix the issue since they were booked full for our second night stay. But no words were mentioned, not even a phone call or email about their mistake. The next night, we went to a different hotel since we only paid and signed for a one night stay, my wife received a $357 charge on her card for a "second night stay" that we never agreed to or signed off for or even booked for by this point since the room was supposedly canceled. Still waiting for a refund and a sincerely apology before ever setting a foot on their property again. I definitely don't recommend booking without verifying multiple times so you don't have the disastrous misfortune my wife and I had. PS. Before you use the coffee maker in the room, make sure it is cleaned out from a previous guest opened up a coffee packet and poured in into the reservoir. ALSO PS, be sure to watch where you step in the bathroom since the door stop was so nicely installed on the floor right where you get into and out of the shower. It makes for a nice toe jam.
We had a three room suite each with their own bathroom. Two of the three toilets were stopped up upon arrival. The rooms were very clean but you could tell some maintenance and updating was needed on the rooms. Drywall seems were cracking the patio had missing and damaged tiles and siding. The walls and floor seemed thin and we could hear every step taken from those above us. The pool area was great and well maintained. I would stay again but might check other offerings in the area. I liked that they offered off site parking for trailers but wish it was lit and had a couple security cameras as a deterrent.
Indoor pool area was extremely warm, strong smell of chlorine, flies everywhere, and extremely cold water. Mostly for kids but a couple water slides all ages can enjoy. Outdoor pool is a good size but always felt like you were in dirty bath water. Always had bugs and was to warm of water to cool off in. Kids didnt seem to mind but to me wasn't a relaxing enjoyable time. The lake was cleaner and more refreshing.
We booked for a getaway last weekend and this place was awesome. Everyone in our group complimented me on booking it for the event. If I could give Brenda more stars I would! She made everything as seamless as possible and had the place ready to roll the minute I pulled into town. 11/10 recommend this place!!
Booked a 2 bedroom condo in the trestle building. Upon arrival, found one of the toilets had feces all over the bowl. Dishwasher full of dirty dishes & several of the pans dirty in the cabinets. It seemed like the place used to be nice, but is now very rundown. Waterpark only had enough towels for the first few families in the morning & then nothing. No tubes for the slides or lazy river. Not worth the price we paid to stay there (almost $600 for 2 nights in the off season). Our 1 year old got sick & we had to leave a day early, absolutely no partial refunds.. even after dealing with such a gross place to stay. The view of the lake is nice!
