About

The Grand Forks Rotary Spray Park, located at 39 5th St, Grand Forks, BC, is a popular community water park designed for children and families. This free public facility features various interactive water elements such as sprayers, geysers, and water cannons, providing a fun and refreshing experience during warm weather. It's a key recreational spot, often highlighted as a successful project by the local Rotary Club, offering an accessible outdoor play area.

As a spray park, the facility does not contain traditional pools with temperature-controlled water. The water used for the spray features is typically unheated, ambient temperature water, making it refreshing on hot days.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This is described as a fantastic, massive park featuring multiple playgrounds, a splash/spray park, and extensive green space, often shaded by large trees. Positive aspects include ample picnic benches, a fenced splash park, a well-designed tot spot, public washrooms, and a gravel parking lot by the river. However, key complaints include a lack of garbage cans resulting in litter, broken water fountains, and some park equipment being non-functional. Visitors are also advised to avoid accidentally parking at the campground due to an unfriendly host.

This is a fantastic place. It's a massive playground and splash park with tons of green space to run around in. It's right by the river too. There are plenty of picnic benches under the shade. Large shade trees kept us cool on a 37° day. The splash park itself has 3 benches and is fully fenced with self-closing gates. The 3 playgrounds have a gravel base. Tot spot for little ones is surrounded by a cement barrier to discourage runaways - such a great idea! Public washrooms. Gravel parking lot on the river side. Only complaint is that there are NO GARBAGE CANS and the water fountain is BROKEN. So there was garbage all over the patio at the far end of the public washroom.

Water park was a great experience. Don't accidentally park at the camp ground. The park host isn't so friendly.
