Family-friendly place offering a playground, BBQ pits and a swimming area.
The primary swimming area is in the natural Green River, and there is also a kiddie pool. Neither is typically heated, so their temperatures fluctuate naturally with the weather and river conditions throughout the season. Specific temperature data is generally not published.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Visitors generally describe the park as a great family-friendly destination, especially for young children and relaxed outings like barbecues. Praised for its cleanliness, beauty, safety, and amenities such as playgrounds, bathrooms, lifeguards, grills, and accessible parking, many found it enjoyable. However, common criticisms include the steep entry fees ($8 per person; $36 for non-swimmers). While some experienced it as non-crowded, others reported very crowded beach areas where open smoking (cigarettes and cannabis) was prevalent, significantly detracting from their enjoyment and raising concerns about children's exposure. The water is often shallow (knee-high even in July), making it less ideal for serious swimming or older children/teenagers, who may find the park unthrilling. Furthermore, bike trails lead to, but not within, the park.

kids had a blast. 36$ was a lil steep as I was not swimming. will say the handicap parking was great.!!!!
Clean, beautiful, and wonderful for families. However, the beach area was very crowded and people were openly smoking cigarettes and weed. It’s everywhere now, unfortunately, and it robs people of the enjoyment of the place. I prefer to not have to smell other people’s smoke and children definitely should not be exposed to it. Other than that, it was very nice.
I think is a lot to pay $8 per person not per car but it is a great family place it's really enjoyable. There are bathrooms, lifeguards and grills. Overall it's a beautiful and great place to visit with the fam.
Really open and air centric. Non-crowded and safe. The playground was close too for the little ones to have play options. Cheap ice creams, free water fountain, good for laps in the River or just regular swimming. Want to go again!
It’s a nice little kids park.. that’s it. If you want to BBQ and keep the little ones entertained this is the place. If you have grandparents that want to “go out” but not really do anything, this is the place. Teenagers will not be thrilled. Unless they just want to sunbathe. And if you want to go swimming-swimming this is not the place. Maybe the water has gotten high enough at some point in the past but it’s not even knee high and it’s About to be July. There aren’t any bike trails in the park just the one leading to the park.
