About

The City Pool in Breese, IL, is a popular outdoor community swimming facility operated by the City of Breese. Amenities often include a main pool area, diving boards, water slides, and sometimes a zero-entry section suitable for younger children, making it a family-friendly destination for recreation and cooling off.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Overall, reviews present a mixed view. Many patrons praise the facility as a fun and entertaining place for families and children, highlighting amenities like the splash pad, larger pool, and diving boards. Some also found the initial entry fees and snack prices reasonable, and noted convenient hours, including evening availability. However, a significant complaint details post-COVID changes to pricing and hours, specifically a perceived 'double charge' for separate afternoon ($5) and evening ($3) sessions, which is considered expensive and 'ridiculous' compared to previous pricing, leading some to suggest cheaper alternatives like local parks.

Great facility and great prices. Entry fee and snacks are more than reasonable.

The pool is very fun and entertaining for kids if you have little ones you can go into the splash pad or if you have older ones than you can go to the bigger pool and next to the bigger pool there are diving boards which are really fun.

I haven't been to this pool since before covid and now the pool is five dollars per a person and the pool is open from 1 to 4:30. 4:30-6:00 the pool is closed, but it used to be the pool was closed for an hour and we could come back and swim, but now after the pool opens at 6:00-8:00 it is 3 dollars for each person to swim 6:00-8:00. It is ridiculous. You shouldn't be charged a second time. I am sure there are other pools around that are less expensive. There are two parks near the pool and those parks are free. I would rather take my brothers to the park for free and make a little picnic out of it.
