About

The Godfrey Splash Pad, located within Glazebrook Park at 1401 Stamper Ln, Godfrey, IL, is a vibrant community attraction offering a variety of water features for children and families to cool off and play during warm weather. It's a popular spot for recreational fun in the village.

Splash pads, including Godfrey Splash Pad, typically use unheated municipal water, meaning there are no specific temperature controls for the water. The water temperature is generally ambient, fluctuating with outdoor air temperatures.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The splash pad is generally well-regarded as a nice, clean, and new place for kids and families, particularly on hot days. However, a significant and frequently mentioned concern is the severe lack of shade structures and seating, with complaints about bare concrete and staff refusing to deploy umbrellas. There are mixed reviews on staff, with one instance of an attendant being unhelpful and unprofessional, while another was noted as helpful. Additionally, some visitors experienced issues with sections of the splash pad remaining dormant for extended periods, and some children wished for slides.

Super nice for the kids on a hot day and I am happy they added more chairs but we need some more shade structures there is a table with an umbrella but wish they would add more.

No shade. The whole splash pad is just bare concrete. My kids are upset there is no slides, and the snack stand attendant has been on her phone talking very loud for over an hour. She also refuses to put the umbrellas out at the tables.

It's really nice, clean and new. Took the grandkids, and half the splash pad stayed dormant for over 30 minutes. The sensors seamed to make no difference. At one point 2 sections were dormant for extended period of times. The worker at the concession was very helpful and friendly but couldn't fix the problem
