Such a nice vacation spot! We have enjoyed staying at Hazlet Cabins twice now and love the peaceful location. Camping with AC, running water, and cozy beds! My type of camping! Thanks so much!

We stayed for 2 nights. The one thing this place has going is that it is right on the lake. It was decently clean feeling. The front door was unlocked when we arrived which is really minor but still made it feel a bit less secure. The water heater didn't work so we got to take cold showers. We tried to contact them but never got a response during our stay. Note, we were gone all of the second day and didnt get back till late. It rained, hard, the entire day. When we went to call it a night, we discovered there was a leak that had caused half of the bed to be completely soaked. With it being late, we called the emergency number in hopes that there might be another cabin empty at the time or at least some dry sheets but no one answered and we weren't even able to leave a voice mail as it hadn't been set up. We decided we could move the bed from under the leak and make it work for just one night. When we moved the bed, there were signs of mold starting to grow where the leak dripped on the floor indicating this was not a new problem. When we finally heard back about the water heater, we were told we should have contacted the emergency number....ya know, the one that didn't work. We were refunded for one night which is nice but I honestly am upset that we even paid for one night there. We tried contacting them again but we're completely ghosted.

Very small kitchen. Only 1 burner worked on the cooktop, dorm size refrigerator. Could use a good cleaning, as we saw lots of cobwebs, and gnats. Beautiful scenery, right on the lake, and pretty grounds. The bed left a lot to be desired. Overall...ok

It is such a peaceful and beautiful place. I've stayed here many times, and not once have I been dissatisfied with my stay. All of the staff have been super nice. This place is one of our favorites!

As far as cabins go, this was perfect. I stayed at cabin #4 and the slight breeze off the lake made sitting on the back porch all day so comfortable-even in almost 90 degree weather! The beds are comfy. Everything is clean. Convenient to have a kitchenette area. It was a picturesque perfect way to detach and recharge-just wish I could’ve stayed longer! Saw tons of wildlife. It’s an absolutely beautiful way to connect to nature and I can’t wait to come back!
