Public swimming facility with multiple water levels and a slide, plus a concession stand.
Specific information regarding actively maintained or consistent temperature ranges for the DuBois City Pool is not readily available. As an outdoor public facility, its water temperature is generally dependent on ambient weather conditions and is not typically heated to a specific temperature.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Dubois city pool receives mixed reviews. Many patrons praise its diverse facilities, including sections and slides for all ages, varied water depths, and generally clean conditions. Concession prices and day passes are often noted as reasonable, and some lifeguards are commended. However, a significant point of criticism is the strict 'no life vest' policy, even with supervision, which is problematic for families with young children still learning to swim and reportedly enforced by rude staff. Multiple reviews highlight other staff members, particularly those in concessions, as disrespectful, ignorant, and in need of customer service training. Other minor drawbacks include occasional crowding, debris in the water, and season passes being considered expensive unless used very frequently.

I have been going here forever. Amazing place. There are sections for everyone. Babies, children, teens, adults, etc. They have a big slide, but they also have another small slide for younger kids! The prices of food, snacks, and drinks are also very reasonable! The pool is very clean, too. The lifeguards are very good too. I love this place..10/10 would recommend!
Not worth the time with younger kids. There are a lot of nice features at the pool but it is ran more like a daycare. They don't permit kids to wear life vests. Only good for kids who are fully trained and don't require direct supervision not those still in the learning phase. It was not permissible to wear them even while being with the kids. When asked for a refund after learning the extent of that rule we were told we were dumb because there are no pools anywhere like that. When I offered to show him places the attendant laughed and said then we shouldn't take our kids to unsafe places. Isn't it normal to promote wearing life vests, even when you know how to swim? The adult and child staff members were all equally rude and disrespectful.
The Dubois city pool is really great. And awesome place for the kids to play when they have adult swim and the pool is always clean the pool it's self has 3 different water levels an area for really small kids to play a medium lever for kids about 5 up to play and then there deep end for all the experienced swimmers. Will definitely be going back next summer.
Pool is lovely, but is frequently crowded (as it is often very hot here in the summer) and often has debris floating on top of the water. Concession stand has a large variety of food, drinks, candy, and snacks and is reasonably priced. Day passes are also priced reasonably, but I do not recommend buying a 'season' pass unless you are sure you will go very frequently, as the family pass we purchased cost around 170 dollars. It includes 6 people to be added (technically, two adults and four children- but I have yet to see this enforced very strongly). All in all, if you're in the area and want to go swimming, I do recommend going here.
The pool is great but the "kids" they have working for them really need some lessons in how to deal with people. They are rude, we asked for a pizza the one girl has no idea about anything going on in the concession stand and the boy threw our pizza at us and the plates. They are ignorant and need to learn some manners. Other than them this place is great!
