This was our fourth time staying at Splash Magic and our first visit under the new ownership. It’s always been one of our favorite campgrounds thanks to the wide range of activities for kids, and it keeps getting better! In the past year or two, they’ve added four new water slides, which really enhance the already impressive pool area. The campground features a fishing cove, bumper boats, an amazing playground, one of the best arcades we’ve seen at any campground, and a fantastic pool complex with three separate pools, a kids' splash zone, an adults-only hot tub, and now the new slides. Compared to other large campground chains like Jellystone and Sun Outdoors, Splash Magic is incredibly affordable while still offering top-tier amenities. Plus, its setting along the Susquehanna River is a unique bonus, my son has caught several large catfish here! The staff in the office has always been friendly, helpful, and welcoming, they really make check-in and the overall experience smooth. Wristbands are required for most activities. You can get a full-access band for $15 per day, which includes everything, or buy individual $5 wristbands for access to specific attractions like the water slides, bumper boats, or mini golf. It’s nice to have the flexibility depending on your plans for the day. Nearby Activities: Splash Magic is also perfectly located for off-site fun. Just across the river is Skeeter’s BBQ for great food with an awesome view of the river. Knoebels Amusement Resort is just a short drive away, and Selinsgrove offers plenty of shopping and dining options close by. Highly recommended for families looking for a fun, affordable getaway with something for everyone. Thanks so much for the reply! We definitely noticed the improvements this year, and it made the campground that much better. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!
Front office staff was extremely welcoming and helpful when checking in. The dolphin cove cabins were just what I expected and enjoyed waking up to the water views. We debated bringing our boat because we weren't sure about the boat ramp location, but it's right by the main offices(for those of you who couldn't find this info online like me). Bumper boats, paddle boats, water slides and mini golf are well worth the $15. I felt safe letting our kids ride their bikes around the loop of the cove, this is a very family friendly resort. (Oh and the playground area is amazing) The snack stand has good food at good prices and Matteo's delivers to the main office and their food is great as well. Definitely recommend:)
Looked nice, but a little stinky. Didn’t matter because I bought my own cleaning stuff. Had my family come and it seemed good. When me and my husband came home, didn’t realize it at first but then I started to break out with big, red , itchy bumps. Then noticed bed bugs. We had to get rid of everything, furniture, rugs. Crazy! We will never go there again. I paid almost 2000.00 dollars and I believe I should get a refund
My family and I stayed the week of July 15 through the 21st 2025. The campground was very nice and if you are doing a family vacation with young kids or adults who are young at heart. This is the best place. they have something to do for every age. daily activities include movie night, theme weeks, and the waterpark is amazing. The adult only pool was fantastic. The staff in the office was very welcoming and friendly, even with us having an error in our. I’d like to personally single out Peggy Glenn and Maria, who are awesome staff members and the Park should be very proud to have them! They really put the needs and experience of all the campers first and foremost! If I had to give one negative, it’s not really the campground’s fault, but maybe they should consider banning political flags, and other items. There was one camper who I feel made it his mission to try to intimidate some campers, however, I was told that complaints or calls were made to security, and the issue was handled quickly so again I would not blame the campground just more so maybe they should look into that policy so that everyone can have fun in a family atmosphere without having to worry about stuff like that because usually people vacation to get away from all of the foolishness that is in our daily lives. This in no way will keep me from coming back to this campground. We definitely plan to visit in the future.
100% worth it. I stayed in a cabin. The central air conditioner was running upon our visit. Check in was easy. They had 2 pools for everyone + a kiddie pool area. AND an additional pool for 21+ years and older. The food near the pool was affordable and GOOD! My only complaint is when it drizzled (no lightning or thunder) they rapidly closed the pool/ paddle rides on the lake. The property was nice. The staff was friendly. Local stores and fast food spots less than 10 minutes away!
