Water park at Newman Park with a bucket for younger children to play and free admission.
As a splash pad, Mustang Harbor typically uses unheated, ambient temperature water. Specific temperature information is not usually available, as it is not a temperature-controlled swimming pool.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Mustang Harbor Splash Pad in Sweetwater is a popular, free, and family-friendly attraction highly enjoyed by children of all ages, especially during hot weather. Operating from mid-March to November (10 AM - 9 PM), it features a dumping bucket, slides, an infant water area, water halos, and squirt guns. While it offers some covered picnic tables, visitors are advised to bring their own chairs as seating is minimal and the splash pad can get very busy, particularly from 5 PM to closing on weekdays and Saturdays; Sundays are generally less crowded. Minor issues reported include occasional verbal exchanges over slide etiquette and children lingering at the bottom of slides. It's also conveniently located next to a park, allowing children to dry off and continue playing.

My Grandchildren had a blast it was awesome watching them enjoy something they love ❤️
Lil kids need a place to go when it's hot outside? You've found it, hell you might catch a baseball game down the hill. Great place to take the whole family, just out the grill let's see if you can really cook 😁...Good place for family fun with kids of all ages, but of course the little ones will cry when it's time to go, you've been warned,!
The Mustang Harbor Splash Pad is a wonderful addition to the town of Sweetwater. The splash pad is open mid March to November from about 10 AM till dark time, 9 PM. They have the traditional bucket that dumps water with two slides, a small water area for infants, some water halos, and squirt guns. Here are a couple picnic table areas that are covered for seating but it wouldn’t be a horrible idea if you brought your own lawn chair because seating is minimal and the splash pad can get quite busy especially from 5 PM till it closes on workdays and Saturdays. If you want to go with the least amount of people I suggest Sundays- people are typically at church from 10 AM till 1-ish. It’s worth mentioning that not every kiddo at the splash pad comes with a parent. I witnessed many heated verbal exchanges between parents and kiddos over proper slide etiquette.
It's one of the coolest things in the city. The kids will love it, and it's free!
Kids always have a good time. Usually the only issue is sometimes kids stay at the bottom of the slide but thats it. Otherwise good place to take the kiddos for free for fun then the park right next to it to let them run around and dry off.
