It's a great park! We all had fun, kids had a blast. I live in Danville, IL but will definitely be trying to come back. Went back yesterday and the splash pad was not working. They tried to fix it but .. nothing. But it was all good. The kids still had fun.
Playground was great! Very clean and a variety of things to do.
Nice pool, but no kiddie pool. Decent little splash pad. Very nice playground. It includes a large castle wooden structure with slides, an obstacle course area, a small children jungle Jim, swings including a mommy and me swing, and a sand and water play area. They host many events during the year like easter egg hunt and the fourth of july fair amd fireworks show. The 6 mile walking/bike trail that starts from the park is also a fun, free, local activity. My family enjoys so many things about the covington park.
This was a great playground! We stopped here off of the interstate. It was about a 10-15 minute detour but definitely worth it. Splash pad, castle playground, climbing things everywhere. Very well done playground and room for a couple of campers to park while visiting.
Went to the Fountain County fair and watched my granddaughter when the little miss firecracker pageant. Woohoo!! Lovely park and lovely people.
