About

The Rotary Splash Pad, located within Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, TX, is a popular, free public water play area designed for children and families. It features various interactive water jets, sprayers, and dumping buckets, providing a refreshing and fun experience during warm weather months. It serves as a community amenity for recreation and cooling off.

As a splash pad, the Rotary Splash Pad typically uses ambient municipal water that is not temperature-controlled. The water temperature is generally cool and refreshing, suitable for play during hot weather, but specific temperature readings are not publicly available or regulated as with heated pools.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This is a large, clean park with ample space and tall trees, ideal for children. It features a safe, fenced splash pad (requiring water shoes and no snacks in the area, open seasonally from 11 am-7 pm), an excellent playground including one for children with special needs, and clean, accessible bathrooms. Trash cans are regularly emptied. A minor point is that water features shut off about 30 minutes before closing.

Really nice place! I love that the Splash Pad has a fence around so the kids are safe. It’s pretty clean, the trash cans are always empty. The bathrooms are across the street but they’re pretty clean. The playground area is great and the playground for kids with special needs is great!

My kid loved it. Keep in mind they require water shoes, they don't accept snacks in the splash pad area & they are opened seasonally from 11am-7pm. If the water stops there are censor buttons to press.

Really a great place to take the kids. Only issue is about 30 minutes prior to closing. They turn off the water to the features. I can see it is probably too give everyone a chance to pack up and leave. Other than that, it was great
