What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the facility are largely positive, highlighting a very clean pool, super friendly and attentive staff, and excellent lifeguards who prioritize safety, supported by fantastic management. Many patrons, especially those with children, praise it as a favorite water park due to numerous attractions like slides, a lazy river, and diving boards. The swim classes receive exceptional praise, described as 'life-changing' due to dedicated and professional coaches who effectively teach swimmers of all levels. Additional perks include a military discount and the pool being suitable for lap swimming. However, some areas for improvement were noted: issues with loud music, limited and expensive food options, and a policy against bringing personal baby floats, which restricts options for parents with infants. There were also past concerns about staff occasionally closing early and the lack of a visible clock, though the latter issue was eventually resolved.

Very clean pool, super friendly staff and lifeguards. Went with my kids today and loved it there. The only reason it’s not getting 5 Stars from me is the loud music that played. Other than that, really nice place to cool off at or swim some laps to keep your fitness up. 🥰 Coming back for sure. Also, they do military discount 🤍
Lifeguards are very good. I feel like my kids are safe here and trust the guards when the kids want to go to another area. The management is fantastic- they go to the lifeguard as soon as they need something. I heard a manager going over safety protocols repeatedly when a lifeguard forgot his water- I was very impressed with that. They are alert and pay attention to the patrons well. This is my kids favorite water park in our area. There is so much for them to do- slides, lazy river, and diving boards are our favorite! 100% think it’s worth the drive from Junction City!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ LIFE-CHANGING SWIM EXPERIENCE, THANK YOU! From July 7th to July 17th, 2025, my wife and I had the absolute privilege of taking swim classes here in Manhattan, KS and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we’ve made together. I had some prior swimming experience, but my wife was brand new to the water. What we both walked away with after just 45 minutes a day, 4 days a week for two weeks is nothing short of incredible. Our coaches: Abram, Nelson, Levin, Stella, and Ava, weren’t just instructors. They were motivators, technicians, encouragers, and above all, true professionals who clearly have a passion for teaching and empowering others. Every single one of them brought something unique to the table, and together, they created an environment that was supportive, challenging, and full of positive energy. They taught us everything from freestyle and freestyle flip turns to the breaststroke, and my personal favorite the butterfly (which I never thought I’d even attempt, let alone enjoy!). They broke everything down into clean, easy-to-understand steps and constantly kept us on point, maximizing every moment of our time in the water. Their ability to work with both a semi-experienced swimmer like me and a complete beginner like my wife and help us both thrive, speaks volumes about their talent and dedication. We left every session feeling stronger, more confident, and genuinely excited for the next class. I can honestly say we are 100% better swimmers because of their efforts and even more importantly, we’ve developed a lifelong appreciation for swimming. To anyone in the Manhattan, KS area: if you’re even thinking about learning how to swim or improving your skills, look no further. These coaches are the real deal. Huge shoutout and heartfelt thanks to Abram, Nelson, Levin, Stella & Ava, you all made an unforgettable impact on our lives and we’re so grateful. See you at the pool! 🏊♂️🏊♀️💙💪
The pool had barely any food and it was expensive for what they did have. I was not aloud to bring in the baby float for our baby. It a decent looking setup but if you have small children you will either have to have them in your arms the whole time you are in the bigger pool or you are confined to the puddle splash pool.
The pool's is nice. The staff is okay. Sometimes they close early because they want to leave early 😞. One-star review because they don't have any clock that people can see from the pool. Who carries their phone with them in the pool so they can tell the time. A very small issue that can be easily fixed but has taken over a month. I bet they don't get it fixed by the end of the summer. Okay, it's now a 4-star review because they finally got a clock!
