About

Central park featuring multiple playgrounds, a barbecue grill and a kiddie pool in the summer.

Specific information regarding the exact temperature of the pool(s) at Hawthorn Park is not publicly available. Public pools are generally maintained within a comfortable range for recreational swimming, but a precise numerical temperature is not typically published for general access.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This park is highly praised as a free and amazing destination, particularly for families with children. It features a popular splash pad (which requires pressing a button to activate), two distinct playgrounds suitable for various ages, including those under five, and ample shaded seating with benches and picnic tables. Visitors frequently mention that children love the water playground and equipment. However, a significant drawback is the poor condition of the restrooms, often described as dirty, lacking essential supplies like soap, paper towels, and trash cans, prompting some parents to change diapers in their cars. The park also includes a baseball diamond, and it's important to note that dogs are not permitted at the splash pad.

Splash pad is nice. Plenty of benches and picnic tables in the shade to sit on. Women‘s bathroom was gross. Dirty diapers on the floor. No trash can inside of it. No soap or paper towels at all.

They do have bathrooms but I found it easier to change diapers in the back of my car. The kids had so much fun at the splash pad though. If you haven’t been before there is a button you push to make the water go. So if it doesn’t look on it maybe that you just need to push the button.

I love that this place is free!! Such a cute splash pad and park facilities. Playgrounds are really great for kids under 5 but I really appreciate the Park.

It's an amazing park. They have a water playground and plenty of equipment for the kids to play on both sides of the shaded area. My children absolutely love going there.

It's cool, there's a splash pad, and two different play grounds. There's a rest room. There's also a baseball diamond on the other side of the entrance road. There are also benches, a shelter, and lots of tables on the splash pad itself. You CANNOT have dogs at the splash pad. Eww. 🤢
