We stayed for a 3-day, 2-night weekend and absolutely loved it! Gary, the staff member we interacted with at the campground, was incredibly kind and helpful. The grounds and amenities were very clean, and while we didn’t end up using the pool, it looked well-maintained and inviting. The decor is a bit older, but the place has a super cute and charming vibe. Most of the sites are for permanents, but nearly everyone was friendly—waving as we walked or drove by. It was also refreshing to see that people were respectful and kept their dogs leashed or properly contained (which hasn’t always been the case at other campgrounds we’ve visited). Honestly, we hesitate to recommend it only because it might become even more popular and harder to reserve—but we’ve already shared it with friends, so here we are! We’d absolutely stay again. The only downside was the dump station—it’s not very convenient, with difficult access and the potential to block others while using it. Because of that, we opted to dump elsewhere.

I had a very disappointing experience at this campground. I booked a two-night stay to celebrate my nephew's birthday, and we were placed in a group campground due to the number of people joining us. After we set up, we were informed of an additional $30 charge per adult, which was not disclosed beforehand. Despite this, we paid the fee for the one extra adult. On the second day, my brother-in-law rented a cabin to join us. He was not allowed to park his small fishing boat in front of the cabin and was told to move it to another area. When he plugged into an outlet to charge his battery, the manager reacted aggressively, yelling and being very rude. We were then told to leave the campground at 7:00 PM, under the threat of having the police called on us. This forced us to pack up and drive home with small children late at night. Overall, the experience was extremely distressing and unacceptable. Do not stay here!
