What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the water play area are largely positive, highlighting its unique design and interactive nature. Visitors appreciate the opportunities for kids to explore and experiment with water through pumping, creating streams and dams, and engaging in sand play, which fosters cooperative effort. The area is well-regarded for its thoughtful design, including separate zones for different age groups (babies/toddlers and older kids), ample shade, and seating for adults, all set within beautiful gardens. While many found it a cool and worthwhile destination, some noted that features like 'Water Mountain' require continuous effort to keep water flowing, which can be tiring for children. Suggestions for improvement included adding more water fountains. Visitors are advised to bring plenty of water on hot days and be aware of sunset closing times.

I love the Gathering Place & appreciate how kids work as a team to get the water flowing on Water Mountain but they don't get to enjoy much of what they work so hard for. They stop pumping, turning, cranking, etc., the water stops moving. After an hour the kiddos were begging to leave & find another splash pad. Parents can & do help w/the effort but if they have multiple kids to look after they can only do so much.

Extremely well designed. Water play only and water and sand areas for big kids and a seperate area for babies/toddlers. There is shadeand places for adults to sit. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. We love it.

This was our first time there and it was definitely scary because it is so big, but very pretty. The only thing I would choose to make it better is to put more water fountains throughout the place.

Awesome water park for kids and adults with no slides. This mainly a place to explore and experiment with water by pumping it from the ground, making it go different ways, make dams, make streams, dig in the sand, and get each other wet by working together.
