As a retired armored crewman for the Army, I’m no English Major, but I’ll tell you that I am about to finish a 9 night stay at one of the most amazing campgrounds. It is currently off season for the amusement park and water park, but the campground is still open. The employees and animals are still pleased to assist everyone in having an amazing time during each visit. Manage Mike to the youngest employees are so invested in being a place of peace and relaxation for all. The ground crew keeps everything up to higher standards than most houses. The office workers, feeding crews, and animal handlers know their information. I learnt a lot from them. I’m telling you, it’s a have to visit. They are setting up for Halloween now and starting 19 September the amusement park will be open again to ride the rides, and see the internal animals. Lions, Rhinos, Giraffes, and even talking macaws. Hello! If anyone is looking for a reset, put your phone done. Wake up to animals, people who care, truly care. Try it out.
First time at wild adventure, very happy I’m impressed on limited budget- took out the family for the day to enjoy the sun and some fun. lots of rides places open from 11 to 7. Excellent for children two years or older I recommend you get the package that includes feeding the animals. I had a blast feeding the birds I had about five of them on me. Best experience ever bathrooms are clean lots of variations on the meals and then comes with two snacks. I’ll be going back family of four went on $300 including meals and parking. I highly recommend you get the package. Also make sure you check the weather. We had lightning in the area and lost about three hours. They’re only open from 11 AM to 7 PM unlimited refills. I can’t tell you enough get the package. It’s worth it.
A solid 3 stars. It seems like the park will adjust the number of "working" or "available" rides, attractions, and exhibits to match the daily attendance. We went during the week, and then on the weekend. Weekdays had limited availability of certain things, but somehow everything worked once the weekend hit. This would be understandable if the ticket prices reflected the limited experience, but that's not the case. I appreciate the price point for what the park offers. Inexpensive tickets match the current condition of the park. Many many upgrades are needed. Feels very nostalgic, like everything is 20+ years old. As far as the staff goes, prepare to be frustrated. These poor kids barely have a clue what's going on, but it really doesn't seem to be their fault. Most of them are very willing to help, but they just don't appear to be trained. However, once the weekend hit and the crowds swelled, the park came alive. The rides are really cool, the lines weren't awful, the animals are awesome, there's plenty of bathrooms, plenty of eateries, and plenty of places to get drinks/refills. Overall it's worth the price. There's lots to do, a wide variety of experiences, the water park is super nice, and our kids loved it.
Wild Adventures is a well worth it amusement park! All the rides were fun, the food was reasonably priced, and the lines weren’t super long like Disney or Six Flags! They are also building more attractions and restaurants so it’ll be better for next time. They did have rides down for maintenance but they got them back up quickly for rides. I’d rather them be inspected then have problems because they wont close them. They also had a comedy show with one of the Impractical Jokers and I got to meet him before the show! Cool experience and a good price for what you get compared to larger parks!
It's a fun and exciting adventure for sure. However the prices definitely aren't going down. In fact they are only going up. That's my only complaint. Every year they add something new. This year they already have about 3 new rides they are working on now and that is not including the water park !! It was not open yet when we visited april 2025. During the week is not as busy and lines are not as long of a wait for rides. Here are just a few fun things in the videos. I do recommend buying tickets in advance online and be sure to read everything good before you complete purchase. It will save you money for sure. They have concerts, holiday events, birthday party's, family reunions, catering you event or get together, etc... many options. If you wanna enjoy the water park it usually don't open until May for the summer.
