I recently attended a wedding here in June 2025 but haven’t been here since 2018. I feel like over the years they’ve adjusted some things like by the fountain and their lawn area. For both weddings, the parties organized a shuttle from Sacramento or Elk Grove which made it safer for the guests who plan to drink. It’s about 40 minutes away from each area and tight 2 lane roads. The food have both been buffets and pretty good! They have an outdoor air conditioned tent. The ceremony that was at 6pm was not too hot and beautiful lighting. There’s parking for guests too and a huge beautiful mansion where the wedding party usually stays the night. I didn’t know they do Sunday Mothers Day brunch but would like to check it out in the future and it’s a nice photo op place!

We hosted our wedding at Grand Island Mansion, and it was truly the most magical venue we could have imagined. From the moment my husband and I first visited, we were blown away by the stunning grounds—the elegant front garden, the charming back courtyard, and the beautiful, historic mansion itself. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how breathtaking the setting was. The entire team at the Mansion was a pleasure to work with, but a special thank you goes to Debbie, who was exceptional throughout the entire planning process. She patiently took every one of our (many!) calls, answered all of our detailed questions, and never once made us feel like we were asking too much. Debbie is incredibly organized and thorough, and she went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was seamless and unforgettable. We are so grateful to her and the whole team for helping make our celebration so special. If you're looking for a venue that’s both elegant and welcoming, with top-tier support along the way, we can’t recommend Grand Island Mansion enough.

Saw on Bartels Backroads. Stopped by to check it out. Couldn't go inside without an appointment but walked the grounds very up scale and well done. Stop by and see the other side of the delta

We had an amazing wedding for my daughter on September 12, 2024 . This place everything you can only dream about!! Place itself is gorgeous and elegant!! Workers so sweet , pleasant , helpful, loving, always at your service 🩷🩷 Amazing food and heavenly desserts! Thank you to the owners, they are the sweetest couple I got blessed to know them . In all we LOVED IT 😍, LOVED IT 😍, LOVED IT 😍

A very enjoyable experience. They opened up 3 bedrooms for us to explore. They were very nice! Food was good. A bit pricey, but I think it's worth it to go to a mansion to eat brunch. You don't pay for parking, and the drive to the mansion is very scenic. It is a buffet, and the menu doesn't change except for Thanksgiving and Xmas. I will definitely go again. The experience is enhanced if you go with friends and dress up really nice. My cousin was pounding down the mimosas. I love pasta, and this pasta was one of the best I ever had. The pear salad dressing was very good! I didn't care for the dessert though, and I wish they could do better. Their cakes were dry, especially the white one.
