Seems to be well taken care of. Love that I grew up swimming here and proud to say it still looks great, maybe a lot better this year!
My first visit to the pool was in summer of 1964 when I was six approximately. I was bedazzled by the beautiful blue and white paint job, the decorative round rocks at the south end, and the majesty of the building. I had been a student at Challacomb's Kindergarten and a member at First Baptist led by Brother Mart Hardin. Completed grades K thru 2, under Ms. Challacomb, Ms. Turnbull, and Ms. Bryan. Really liked Frederick.
The price per person was $3 in 2022. Great swimming pool. Its clean and has lots of life guards. Also it has different levels of depth all the way to 12 feet, so you can jump safely.
Nice pool, I have a lot of fond memories here. They should really have a more consistent schedule, though - I walked across town to get here on a Wednesday once, only to find out they aren't open on Wednesdays.
This pool is really fun and big I recommend for all ages
