Specific, up-to-date temperatures for the pool(s) at the Millville YMCA (formerly Holly City Family Center) are not publicly listed online. What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews provide a mixed but generally positive outlook on the facilities. Many commend the pool for being clean, well-maintained, and often uncrowded with a good temperature, although one reviewer wished it was warmer. The Holly City Family Center's summer program received exceptional praise, specifically for its effective swimming lessons, pleasant and helpful staff, family-friendly hours (including free before/after care), and engaging activities, with one parent reporting their daughter became a confident swimmer in just two weeks. Affordability was also noted as a positive, with options like a $5 guest pass and acceptance of Rutgers for low-income families. However, some negative points were raised, including 'poor hours' for the gym and pool, an instance of rude staff, difficulties with parking, and concerns about the safety of the surrounding area.

6/2022 Baby girl loved the pool. Wish pool was warmer though at times it's too cold. Regardless, we enjoy it.
Poor hours including gym and pool hours. The one of staff members was rude to me when the building was closed . I do not recommend this gym plus the area doesn’t have good parking near by and too many crackheads asking for money when your walking to the gym.
Pool is very good very friendly staff well maintained
This is my daughter's first year attending Holly City Family Center's summer program and she absolutely loves it! At the start of summer my daughter was swimming a little but only where she could reach in the shallow end. HCFC offers swimming lessons during their free swim time for the kids. After the first two weeks of participating in lessons she was swimming freely in the deep end without swimmies or a life vest. She's swimming under water down to the bottom of the pool picking up pool toys and is now a comfortable and confident swimmer. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. My daughter often forgets her belongings there and they are always there in the morning. I can't say enough good things about this place. They run a wonderful program with weekly themes and visits from the ice cream man. The hours are perfect for working families they offer free before and after care and it's been an all around amazing experience for my child. Thank you to the staff for making this a summer to remember for my daughter. We will definitely be joining again next year. Also, they accept Rutgers which is extremely helpful for low income families. 10 out of 10!! ❤️
Facility is pretty clean, pool is usually uncrowded and great temperature. Affordability is very easy and inexpensive, go with a member and pay only $5.00. Enjoyable. Swim with friends, the taller the better! Lots of open water space!
