About

The Riverway Sports Park Splash Pad in Visalia, CA, is a popular, free water play area designed for children. It features various interactive sprayers, fountains, and dumping buckets, providing a fun and refreshing experience during warmer months. Located within the larger Riverway Sports Park, it's a great spot for families to cool off and enjoy outdoor activities.

As a splash pad, there are no traditional pools with regulated or heated temperatures. The water used in the splash pad features is typically unheated, ambient-temperature water, often from the municipal supply or a recirculated, filtered system.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This park is generally well-regarded for its spaciousness, beautiful views, and family-friendly amenities. It offers multiple playgrounds, picnic tables, pavilions, and fields for soccer, baseball, and softball, making it a great spot for family outings and spending time with loved ones. There is also a splash pad, which kids love, though it closes at 8 pm and visitors may need to bring their own containers for water play. However, some visitors have noted a lack of tennis courts and minor maintenance issues such as a broken restroom lock or an occasional instance of the water not running.

Water wasn’t running when we got here but we did make the most of visiting here by enjoying a picnic. We have food and enjoyed it here. Tables and a park near by why not? They also have pavilions near by as well as a soccer field and baseball field. Plenty of playgrounds around, very spacious park.

They close at 8pm for splash pad. Bring bucket or cups to get water to splash around with. Snacks also. Great for the summer. Also has two play grounds. Kids love it

I'm a tennis player for Mount Whitney high school and plaza parks tennis courts were full so I went here and when they invested in things they just invested in like 8 baseball fields and softball fields but there were no tennis courts for me to fall back on. I wish the river way invested in more than just baseball, softball, and soccer fields.
