Markle Pool: Indiana’s Best-Kept Summer Secret Tucked away like a sun-drenched treasure in the heart of Indiana, Markle Pool isn’t just a swimming spot—it’s a full-blown summer experience. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you’re greeted by friendly, helpful staff who treat every guest like an old friend back for another round of cannonballs and sunshine. Whether you're a beach bum, a volleyball champ, or just in it for the glorious people-watching, Markle Pool delivers. The sandy beach area gives tropical vibes without the need for a plane ticket, while the volleyball courts bring out the inner Olympian in everyone—even if you're just there to serve chaos. Let’s talk thrills: diving boards for the brave, slides for the bold, and swimming areas that range from "splash zone toddler chaos" to "peaceful float with sunglasses and existential thoughts." This place is for everyone—kids, teens, parents, grandparents, first dates, awkward family reunions, and that one uncle who insists on doing backflips despite being 63 and slightly sunburnt. Highly recommended? Absolutely. Essential? Without a doubt. Fun? Legendary. So pack your coolers, grab your floats, and rally the crew. Markle Pool is more than a pool—it’s where Indiana comes to beat the heat, build memories, and belly-flop with pride.
While out here I enjoyed my time here. 6$ for adults. Staff very helpful, friendly. Diving boards high and lower one with lifeguards on duty
This will be one of my favorite summer experiences forever. Friendly staff, watchful lifeguards, and clean water and beach!
Best way to spend a day in the water around! It's usually busiest from 1 to 5PM. Slides, diving boards, concession stand and floatation toys available for purchase! (Note only flat floats or tubes with a bottom allowed in the deep end.) Great place to take kids and not spend a lot of money. (4 of us total, $20 to get in (total) we probably spent another $20 on food. We purchased floats before hand, but all in less than $100 for a fun "staycation" day!!
Wonderful swimming hole, good food and a great atmosphere. Big slide is scary but so fun.
