About

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews consistently praise the venue (now Waco Surf) as an amazing, fun, and relaxing destination, suitable for families. Key attractions include what's claimed to be the longest lazy river in America (a 45-minute loop) and a great atmosphere enhanced by friendly, professional staff and good music from a DJ. Guests appreciate the ability to bring their own coolers with food and non-glass beverages, along with amenities like awnings and grills, creating a tailgate-like experience. A notable point of feedback concerns the strict and sometimes confusing alcohol policy, where drinks purchased in one of the two distinct areas (Lazy River vs. Beach side) cannot be taken to the other, which some wish was clearer upfront. Suggestions also included the addition of lockers for valuables, though waterproof pouches are a viable alternative. Overall, it comes highly recommended for a getaway.

This is definitely one of Waco finest hidden gems! We went to check it out last weekend I had the best time ever. Water was gorgeous, the employees are very friendly and professional keeping the whole park organized. The DJ was pretty amazing and added icing on the cake! I definitely recommend there lazy river.

Had the best time. However, buyer beware when buying alcohol they have two separate areas and you can't cross the stream. 😂 I wish the owners would post this before you buy a drink. In a nutshell you can't take a drink from The lazy River area as that's dedicated to BYOB and they sell too but you can't take it over to the beach side. Strangely the same thing applies if you buy something on the beach side you can't take it over on the other side. They explained it to me and that's fine but I just would like to know these things before I buy a drink especially on the beach side because they have nice cocktails upstairs. Overall we had an absolutely amazing time everyone was really friendly and helpful

Such a fun atmosphere with a kind and mannerly staff. I love that I can bring in my own cooler and set up a picnic. I saw people bringing in awnings, grills, tables, chairs, wagons, and all the conveniences of a tailgate party. I could have rented a float for my drinks in the lazy river, but I think I'll invest in my own to take the next time. I do wish they had lockers to secure phones and wallets, but a water proof pouch to take on the lazy river works best. Highly recommend for relaxing getaway.

Great place to take a family! They claim to have the longest lazy river in America, I believe it! It takes 45 minutes to make a loop so a single loop is a full commitment! You can bring in your own cooler with food and booze, just absolutely no glass!
